What was that stupid bitch Lasha going on about Karen leaving Heather on the porch?

Turns out she didn't want to go to the funeral

Karen confirmed Heather actually Left Airyn without a ride, because she decided she couldn't handle going...  she left Art's widow without a ride to his funeral.

but it's not about her

Hey, what is the name of that song? That's one I never did chase down.

Just plug Cusco in to one of those Russian mp3 sites that will play results in succession and it's like full Art Bell immersion. Didgeridoo is my favorite I think... so far...

They keep missing Art’s one true sign. He keeps using all of his energy to stop the stream and they just don’t get it.

You might be onto something there  :o

Oh man.  I'm going to go watch something for a half hour and then check it out again.  I made it a whopping 45 minutes or so through this monologue.  I will try again, but I really don't care how Art found Whitley...

Just can't take anymore.  I need to take a breath during this waterboarding session.

***Does this really go on for another two hours?

***Oh, FFS.  That's how he talked me into it too Whitley.  He said "just try it for a night."  Yup.  She had not intention of doing radio prior to that.  It probably too all kinds of cohesion on Art's part.
Being this far in you might as well bite the bullet and endure- I know its a difficult and unpleasant  experience but think about how much more you will be able to appreciate good and even mediocre radio after being subjected to 2 more hour of this?

I believe Karen.

I missed that.  Good Lord. What was she thinking?

And Airyn is supposedly still friends with her?

I will admit one thing I actually fell for with Heather was that tonight would provide unsurpassed audio/production quality. I did just realize a lot of the crackling sound like audio is coming in somewhere too hot, so either she doesn't know how the hell to operate volumes/faders or someone at the "network" is a total buffoon.
I felt bad for her when I heard that static. Then I thought, shouldn't they have tested the setup? Then I thought maybe she's really doing her best and made some bad decisions influenced by grief and personality. Then I thought, who decides that butterflies are better than moths? Then I thought I shouldn't have eaten a chicken leg before drinking those beers. Then I thought I like Good Dave's bumper music. Then I thought I like that Heather played Art's bumper music. Then I thought again about the chicken and beer. And then I remembered Bellgab, and how I could share these thoughts, and how people would read them and dismiss them as I perhaps should have, and I was at peace.

48k is all you need for talk. 64 and especially 128 is overkill and takes up too much space in your podcatcher. 192 is ignorant.

Exactly. Clyde just recently started upping his SC download to 128. I haven't found a station that does the 128 live yet though, but I'm sure it's available on their end from XDS. Again... not very keen for streaming direct over your phone if you have data limits. I'm Strieber anal about lossless audio with music, but just doesn't work with talk radio.

Just noticed more pages here than that other guy's thread.

El Chorro marked the occasion with some more great artwork when it happened.

Why does Art prefer the ceiling?

Its just what happens when we die inside a room.  Our soul/spirit gets stuck in the cieling when we try to rise up to heaven.  Due to an innerdimensional shift these departed souls can appear in any building, but only in the ceiling.  Its complicated and i cant explain any more at this time.

Heather's obvious statement of the night:

"I'm on the air. And you're on the air."

I believe Karen.

I believe her, too. I also somewhat believe Heather, and somewhat more believe Keith about all the stuff. I don't know what to believe anymore, except it's all a bit sad, interesting, amusing. Just like life, except on the internet.

Oh fucking Christ... She wants to mentor Alexander. I think my brain is melting.

Heather wants to give the show to Alexander when she's old.

This shit is getting ridiculous.

Keith bumped up the bit rate to 64k for that bumper tribute show but I am sure he set it back down at 48. That is what he has normally used since Art quit back in 2015 to save money. It sounds fine.
