Sausy you did great work when you were with RCH. You are to be commended.
Ive got to head for the studio....youll like the new MITD host...and I wish him and Keith well...and of course all you you. I may appear on a future gabcast, so until then be safe everyone!

Ahh it is clear. You just wanted to pop in to confirm that Dave Schrader was host and let the cat out of the bag.
There is always an underlying motive with you George. But everyone gets so giddy they fail to see through the facade.

Like the sexual harasser who did Prairie Home Companion.

I listened to a new one recently. The host that does it now is better than Garrison Keillor. Imagine that.

It is possible, folks. Don't stop hoping.

Thanks alot George for ruining the big surprise.

I wonder...Dave Schrader seems like a logical choice.  Although, he was dropped from his MN station some time ago, so maybe his ratings aren't that great.

George is doing MITD and Coast at the same time?

Seriously, if that statement is informed by experience, thank you for writing so.  I've never been sure how much the talent needs to be distributed between the roles.

The George Noory “it’s no longer too soon” Gabcast appearance might be the most anticipated in history, aside from Keith possibly showing up.

I wish we could have done more. Art, despite our differences, was a genius.
We are proceeding with MV's idea of the AB Vault...takes tons of work but itll happen...most likely for all coast insiders

Hes taking over the entire World, one network at a time... Pretty soon he'll also be anchoring Fox news and CNN at the same time. That man is an animal and theres no stopping him now./

Now that Bell is gone his plan will unfold unhindered and we are powerless to watch as individual stations and entire networks begin to fall like dominoes under his control.

I still think George is a slime ball. I don't care how many times he appears on gabcast and works his magic sounding like a nice guy.
There are no coincidences that he showed up here today, the day before MITD reboots, just to mingle. His intentions for showing up here today was in his last message.
Make no mistake about it.

Quote from: albrecht on May 06, 2018, 03:13:34 PMWe got a few low power stations who play polka shows. Saturday night and Sunday usually. I think maybe one still left that plays it all the time but you only can get it in the rural county were the Bohemian/Czechs moved. And dance halls are still operated by SPJST but the only time I've gone it was just normal country music stuff.
The weekly hour "Dance With Me, Stanley" on WFMU is largely polka.  Well, really what it largely is is DJ Stashu's energy!

Used to be some polka programs on the AM dial in NYC, as on WVOX, not sure lately.

I think his behavior after Art's death was appropriate and him being emotional when he eventually broke the news seemed sincere.*

That said, yeah, its a disappointment, every time he posts here all his shit talkers roll over to get their belly rubbed by him.

*But I believed the stalker story for a few months too.

The only old school beer I can kind of stomach is Pabst. I haven't tried Schlitz...or Hamm's...but a solid no on Blatz, Stag, Black Label and Falstaff

Ballast Point (Sculpin) is one helluva beer.   Back in the day we drank Coors in Texas.  Only 2 states had it, the other being Colorado of course.  Good times and
good lookin' girls in Texas in the mid 70's!

I watched more in the 90’s. The days when Gretzky was still a King. Pretty much stopped watching after 2002.

Heather wants the hit song without practicing her instrument, gigging and listening to others.  She's the William Hung of paranormal radio.

Wow. So Noory really comes on here? His approval of the new host kind of makes it a turn off to be honest, no offense. My three big problems with Noory Coast are the direction of/content of the show, endless ads and plugs, and the John B Wells incident. I guess the first two could be fixed but won't, so I'll stick with JB the rebel/outsider. And Erskine Payton, who also has a Premier/Coast grudge.

Manipulative like Heather. They'd make a great team.

And thanks for the Ugly Americans gifs as well as your George logic, HumanBeing. I had forgotten all about that show.

After clicking on the profiles of a small cross section of Heather wade fans on Facebook. I think I feel sorry for them, they live sad lives and I think she is the only acceptance they find. They haven't made the connection that she is preying on them

I spent some time reading through old posts on the Art Bell thread this afternoon, and re-familiarized myself with his on-again, off-again schedule on C2C and other shows. I'm sure it looks worse in retrospect, as one continuous stream, but the chaos over the past 20 years is extraordinary. Someone like Noory must seem consoling both to casual listeners and industry insiders who rely on a sense of routine.

The swipe that Michael Savage took at Art must have riled him as much for the "inside joke" part as for the 10-year-old-hooker bit. Someone with as massive an ego as Art, who appeared to act on his own whims at the expense of everyone around him, must have bristled at the thought his behavior had made him a punchline in his own field.
