Isn't JPW in Puerto Rico?  Didn't the front of his condo get blown out?  Thought I remembered him talking about it on Coast after the hurricane.

i remember he said he once followed a giant glowing mouse cursor into the jungle.

It took you THAT long?  ;D

I liked the first two shows but tonight he showed that he knows when to cut a guest that's going no where.

So Type A

Indeed. I often boldly go for it in the afternoons and take a nap.

Haha what?  I hope that's true.

Yeah, but that's just silly shit. You can go down the line. Wikipedia is lying, so you go to the library, then the books are lying, so you go to older books, then they are lying, and eventually you buy nothing as factual and end up yelling at cars wearing nothing but an "end is near" sandwich board all over someone claiming that diapers are alien technology.

What's silly? That an advanced extraterrestrial craft could've crashed and that we might've retroengineered technology from it?

What for?

Seems as though there was some question about him being the real Teeter, and he was evasive when Heather pressed him on it.  We actually pushed her to drop him and she felt kind of awkward after she did.  This was early on, when Heather still read the board and when she was warming Art's seat, or so we thought.

PG Shoutout. Love it.

I think he also said he had a doppleganger spooking local puerto ricans by going everywhere he went just before him?

PrairieGhost

It was pretty freaky, I really think it had to be the monitor.

You know I vaguely remember this, thanks for the information.

Is anybody in range of KNYE's over the air broadcast?  Music plays on the streaming version of KNYE through TuneIn.

I'm curious if Karen is just running a music stream for online lurkers because of an agreement with Keith to keep more listeners on the main streamcast.

No, just the thought process is paranoid and silly. But since you mention it, yes, it's also silly that an alien spacecraft could have crashed and we might have back engineered it. It was a late 20th century trope people cashed in on, but current thinking in astrobiology and futurism blows it out of the water. The "accounts" flat out aren't bizarre enough anymore to depict alien life in the same way that 1950's sci-fi movies of robots do not reflect how the robots of today actually are. It's now dated woo. Old sci-fi sold as "real" that just doesn't make sense now. Why would you back engineer something that crashed? What do plastic diapers have to do with that? What's in a diaper that's so strange you need to resort to an alien explanation for?

I know what you mean.  Common to old raconteurs no matter the material.
Happens to even non old ones, especially if drinking or meeting old friends. Most fun is how people remember old events with people there! How tales of old change etc. And like Quincy sorting out what really happened back then...

I walked outside one night and saw what looked like a person kneel down under my neighbor's steps. The odd thing was that it was like a shadow but most of the upper body didn't seem to be there. Several nights later, I saw what looked like another shadow thing walking along the side of the hill. No upper body. It must have been a trick of the light. Still, it was pretty spooky.

All cultured societies allow for siesta time. One of my personal favorite pastimes

I noticed that on the first night and I had the same thought, it's probably so online listeners head to DMDN.

Current thinking? You're just a hipster doofus trying to be trendy then and not a free thinker at all. I think you're dated woo. ::)

If I understood Dave's desired approach to the UFO topic correctly, this book has his guest list on the topic for the next 6 months, LOL

There is a technical issue because of my set up, we had just a few days to make this happen so at this point I am not compatible with their delivery service, Karen is very supportive and cannot wait to get the show back on the air. We should be up and running within the next 10 days

They're aware of it but I wasn't asking Dave, Keith or Winnie about the reason/explanation.

He just said "Tigger"

Pooh reference with a Winnie wife...  OK.

I vaguely remember that one actually!  Btw, I actually had my own doppelganger for awhile where I used to live.  Happened twice where people were convinced I had just left the store and returned for some reason.  The second time they kept asking me where I'd hidden my grocery bags and how I changed my clothes so fast.   ???
