I think so. A good host, like Schrader or Knapp, can direct the interview to extract information from a guest who is incoherent.

Art Bell, of course, was a master at this.  I don't recall EVER a bad Art Bell interview.

This takes a high degree of skill on the part of the interviewer...you need to pay attention, actively listen, ask leading questions...

Don't know, but I'm pretty sure she didn't dump the obviously fake "John Titor" she had on. I remember tuning out not too long after giving her an opportunity to do so.
