SergeantMajor

Must not be a lot of callers waiting to talk as she continues to drone on and on and on...

It's an "I, me, I, me"-type lame story about how Thunderdrums came to be bumper music for the show and was almost (but not actually) the opening song for MITD at one point.  ::)

lol yeah that i got but ..why was she telling that story lol

She was trying to convince the audience that her losing the CD and finding it again at a friend's house is an example of "synchronicity."

(You'll have to decide for yourself whether she was successful or not.)

A couple of shows per call if you can get it in?

Oh, it's even worse: if you have heard the programme before, you can expect to hear from the same dozen-or-so callers over and over again.

The fact that people are allowed to call twice in a four-hour show says a lot.

Did she use the Force?

local HS team lost in a Hillary-like result so figured to tune-in to see the wreakage here. Missed the Savage reference but, so far, pretty weak. Can't she do some 'energy-work' or 'candle-work' to help Art's health or, at least, lawsuit- maybe more leverage there what with the history of the Bar?

Dr. MD MD

What the hell is going on here? This is still a show?!  ???

I don't know. It is weird. The guy reading the script of the most powerful magnet rant could've been promising but she kills the deal with her comments. Art could've drawn that crazy guy out for a lot more. For someone needing to 'kill time' why not lead them on??

Mike in Montana, Dale in Arkansas, Fontaine, Sunshine in Indiana, and that trucker that always blows his own horn....a dozen might be on the optimistic side of things.
At least she flushed the drunk wolfman some months ago.

SergeantMajor

So, she can't plug in the coordinates while she's talking to this guy? WTF?!

Nigeria is so yesterday; Burkina Faso is the New Frontier.

(I can't wait to hear her try to pronounce Ouagadougou.)

Art could have us listening to some dude talking about pictures, even an RCH or Holes or Ancient Monumuments etc when many, if not most, wasn't looking at them. She can't even plug in a search to comment on it? With the internet we have now? Even Norry, I hate to say, can "work" wikipedia or google maps or get Tommy to do so and then studder and claim he knows, or sees, something. Sad.

Haha I had to look that one up.  They appear desperate for entertainment there.

Elmo dances while Cookie Monster waits in the wings.

Y'all should have been listening to Darkness Radio with Zaffis and Guiley on as guests for the past 2 hours.  Far better than this shit.

Reading the comments on this thread is entertaining.

I'm sure the story sounded great when she was putting it together in her own head while she was stoned, but it didn't bear up at all well when she released it into the non-drug-addled world.  :(

This guy taking a shot at a loincloth-clad giant carrying a cow is creepier than whatever he saw.

This reminds me at times at school when you've been drinking etc all day with your friends all day at the game or something and then you get roped into going to dinner with your girlfriends or friends or anyone's parents and you, suddenly, "come too" and realize everyone is staring at you because you are rambling. And then need to figure a away to "back out" and try to mentally figure what shit you said.

I wonder if the military is making holograms of weird things to shoot at in secret just to keep those with lonely posts alert.

Tonight's MITD listeners might not be faring so well, either.  :(

I prefer the term "Suckfest" myself.  It's more dignified.

Agreed!  My vernacular has degraded through the years after hearing 4 letter words all over the place. Suckfest used to only to refer to Jorch Noory's radio show but unfortunately the suck is spreading across the airwaves. :(
