Not all people are ready for democracy, are they?

That's because there isn't a single "democracy" on our planet, and never has been!

Refresher: democracy involves the entire voting-age population of a country voting on every issue or bill all the time. What we have here (and in most other "Western" countries) is a representational REPUBLIC, where the people vote in representatives to do their will. It IS NOT a democracy. We were never intended to have a democracy, it's something progressives started calling our form of government in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries to get common folk to believe their vote actually mattered, and to help ensure women's suffrage (the right to vote).  Because our citizens here are so ill-educated the use of the word "democracy" has stuck, unfortunately....

Stanton Friedman rescheduled for tonight. He was just on with Amy last week so no need to listen to MITD tonight.

Hi JJ:

I listened to Amy's interview, and I enjoyed it. Stanton seemed to have had a good time too.
I'm curious to see if he'll have a similar experience tonight.
So I'll be listening tonight; at least for a little while, to see how it goes.  :)

Stanton Friedman was interviewed by Heather on MITD on 12/30/15 and I thought it went well. Especially since it was one of Heather's first few shows. The one thing I remembered as being a point of contention involved Bob Lazar. Stanton thinks he is a complete fraud. Heather thinks he is legit. She sounded disappointed that Stanton rattled off all of the fraud, giving details about his real vs alleged education credentials.

I will be interested to hear if she brings it up again. Her only real defense was that Bob Lazar's story has never changed.

Hi everyone! Hope your weekend went well.

Hopefully, tonight's interview with Stanton Friedman will be as good as Amy's was.

Hi everyone!  I'll be here for a short time before I go to bed.

I_Speculate

I'd like to hear Heather and Amy converse...

While i close my eyes with headphones on...

It would be akin to being bombarded from the left and right by multiple auditory orgasms.

Hi I_Speculate. ;D

Hola Starr. I hope you find yourself well.

This story that Ms. Wade is breathlessly panting into the microphone is hauntingly reminiscent of the propaganda of old.

It's exactly what Art used to say.  There are a few of them.  E.g.:

1)  Bob Lazar's story has never changed.
2)  I can tell when someone has the ring of truth in their voice.
3)  Ronald Reagan opened the doors of the asylums and let the crazies into the streets.
4)  "You will speak from a place of authority" if you call from Skype.
5)  Politics bore me.

They sound a certain way when she says them...

The RNC certainly was lively early on. ;D

Okay, my friends, I'm off to bed.  Have a great night and an awesome tomorrow! :-*

Michelle Obama's Melania Trump's speech was well written, apparently.

Stanton Friedman to the missus last week, 8 PM:  "Ugggh, I can't deal with this, tonight.  I wanted to catch up on Netflix... just, would you call in for me?  Tell her I'm nauseous.  Tell her I'm throwing up.  I'm too sick to talk, I'm already asleep for the night..."

Ghost Nutter

Good guest  tonight. .did art finally  make another phone call

"I enjoy talking to lovely ladies on the air in the middle of the night."  Ahhh, this could be fun.

I do love this guy, every time I hear him.

Ghost Nutter

Travis Walton really is one of the rock stars..isn't  he

Juan Cena

Tonight's show will definitely not be as big of a fiasco as Melania Trump's speech is turning out to be.
