Good grief he plugs UCLA.
Hey, don't criticize the UCs, USC and Stanford look at the value of your house for affordability scores.  Can't hide your income like FAFSA schools...  When your crappy kid drops from a 4.8 GPA to 4.1 because of 200 hours of volunteering and crap, school gets more expensive. UCLA and UCSD become options.

Wonder how he feels about NASA obviously faking a ton of missions.

Sean...u called him out on that contractor shit...his grandpa was sent there from the Fatherland to do some spying maybe?

Tuned in a bit late, still behind some. Not familiar with this guest, but I got a gut feeling Good Dave was gonna pop off about the bro remote viewing (like many years before it was even known of) had the big C didn't see or look and died, like WHAT? I think Davey may be tossing this guy a little early?? The dial is straight up moving into the RED.

Btw...the SR-71 IS NOT still flying. Again hard these takes before because a million people must have been there and a. 2000 books written with all this stuff in here. Did Ben Rich even know him that he stalked him into the parkimg lot??

They were filming and the guards closed the gate and wagged his fingers at the boys and said don't follow us!!???

He strikes me as some congenital liars I've known. Rambling, meandering stories told in a murmuring, run on sentence fashion (you don't want to give people the opportunity to question your stories). ::)

In America.  I hear in socialized countries that school is a lot less.  I also hear that top professors make much less money than their American counterparts.

PS. I avoided calling him Mr. Winnie because that's too inside baseball and I didn't say hi to Miss Winnie.

What a lame, fucked up call.

But, he confirmed my gut feeling...  Influence, genetics...  I didn't ask if his parents were UFO believers.

In America, they pay most of their sports coaches much more than their professors.

No problem with the schools, just odd that this is the second guest I've heard mentioning UCLA over and over again.  At least he didn't say aliens come from Orion yet.

Hey, I didn't insult the Pac-12, wish they'd start competing with the SEC though  :-[

I mentioned that I grew up in a neighborhood with rocket scientists (my godfather was a Tomahawk missile kingpin). Another neighbor wrote on remote viewing.  Crappy person, probably a mildly autistic woman, no, I don't know the name of the book. Supposedly a real publisher...

Dyna-X

Thanks for asking my question, Dave.
A little mystery solved. They check criminal background and pass a test. He didn't mention anything about outside credentials...

The coaches teach more than your average professor. Aren’t you glad the federal government took over the student loans?  Look at the rise of tuition since that milestone.

IMHO you should not he eligible for a student loan if you are pursuing a liberal arts degree. You couldn’t get a mortgage on a house built of popsicle sticks and white paste.

True.  CTE lawsuits will kill those sports programs, I guess.

Looks like a good deal for Alabama.

The University of Alabama Made Almost $100 Million From Football

Not only did Nick Saban deliver the University of Alabama its 4th national college football title in 7 years, but he also helped subsidize the entire Crimson Tide athletics department by generating an astonishing $95,132,301 in revenue, the most ever by any single team in the history of college sports.

Education is a scam.  I do proofreading/fact checking for a master's program student.  Inane!

Not enough people use community college wisely...

They pay the coaches more, so the sports teams do better. Their sports teams do well, they get attention and money. It's another view on the Capitalist culture. Many schools pride themselves more for sports than academics, which I think is very sad. College learning should be a right, not a privilege open primarily to the rich or people who have to basically sell their souls to banks for years to get it.

It can be interpreted as a Muslim cat or a cat dressing as a ghost for Halloween or just a cold cat. :)

Well, I've taught on the university level on and off over the years, from full time to adjunct. I barely made a living wage, and these were good colleges! When/if I still teach now it's because I like the course, it's almost a loss-leader for me. Oh well.

Tighten up the requirements and eliminate the federal government for student loans and tuition will magically drop, especially for colleges specializing in liberal arts degrees. Ohmygawd someone should be responsible and actually save money for their kid’s education and have them work while they are going to school. My daughter will graduate from an SEC school next year with zero debt because I saved money in a college fund since she was 6 and because she has worked every semester and taken some summer courses at a community college.

Yeah it's pretty bad for pay.  Consulting or research was one way to fix it.

That's the type of facilitator I always enjoyed, an instructor who enjoys the course.

In California, we have TransparentCalifornia.com a way to monitor employee salaries.  Adjuncts get screwed here.

I got a small scholarship but had to work my way through college and get student loans
