I have regular Ubuntu and loadable Ubuntu on the spare box, but don't use them much because I can't run my any of my fav Win apps. I recently heard there's a Window's emulator app for Linux that I want to look into tho.

That's WINE, which Play On Linux is based on. POL seems to work better than a prepackaged wine .deb.
