He went a little further in math that I did. I died off taking Honors Multivariable Calculus. That course hurt. So did Theory of Automata and Computation.

I kind of regret asking my question about the information-fueled interstellar drive a few weeks ago with the holographic universe guy now with Dr Kaku on tonight.

Maybe I should try to call in about the idea of a gas torus with a breathable atmosphere. That, or the idea of covering roads and other paved areas with solar panels.

Which idea grabs y'all?

the road thing is interesting. Holland has put in some....though they mainly ride bikes so?

I made it to 2nd year calculus before my engineering career was kaput. Fortunately I got into a stable vocation--music.   :P

Problem being, Kardashev was most likely wrong. Type III civilizations probably use almost no energy.
