There are lovely places to live in the desert.  Pahrump ain't one of them. I've been there. As long as Art insists on broadcasting from home in that place, he's going to have issues with privacy and security and its not going to get better as the new show grows.

I'm curious.  How many incidents were there when he was at the helm of The CoasttoCoast empire?  Why would you think that now it might be more dangerous?

If anything I thought it would've been MORE dangerous back then. Bill Cooper was still stirring people up on the SW, the militia movement was in full swing, y2K was freaking people out, the "range wars" of state/people vs Fed over land was raging, everyone was thinking Clinton was going to ban guns (and he did some types,) Waco, Ruby Ridge, etc had some people on edge, and so on....

"The page is temporarily unavailable" is the title, and then it goes on with a warning message about Amazon Linux AMI, etc.  Looking this up, it's the distributed linux image that is provided by Amazon Web Services.   I didn't look any further, but if they're hosting their stuff on Amazon (which I actually would give kudos to KR for), I highly doubt it's an Amazon outage.  Something else is going on. 

Anyone going to cancel their Paypal Time Traveller subscription?

I have had problems similar to yours today, however after refreshing a bunch of times I was able to access and download last night's show.  I really think it's just intermittent network problems that need to be fixed.  No need to cancel subscription.

Also since hoaglands website is down the same way Arts is it makes me that it's less Art quiting and more of a server problem on Keith's end.

I don't think it's a server error, it says "Something has triggered an error on your website."    Meaning something on KR's end, not the host.  Amazon (assuming that's the host)  is still serving up the page, so it's not a 404 error.

There was one other time that Art received death threats of sufficient concern that he spent his nights sitting in the dark with a gun on his lap to protect himself and his family.

The threats were made public in Art’s lawsuit against David Oates, Robert Stephens, et al

In addition to the threats he received while living in Pahrump, Art alleged that one of the parties was also behind the fake Philippines letter that was published in the Philippines.

Two nights ago, on their little amateur hour show, Leo Asshat and Neil S played reverse speech clips provided to them by David Oates. They stated that they were having Oates on as a guest in the near future. Obviously they’ve been in touch.

There has been a very recent public dispute between Art and Leo, during which Leo had a meltdown of several days duration that led many to speculate about the state of his mental health

Last night Neil S said the show would be off-line because they were doing hardware upgrades.  Leo said they would be off-line because he had dental work scheduled for this morning.

These are all facts, not speculation.  It could all be a series of unrelated coincidences, with the shots fired in Art's direction during his show last night coming from local drunk kids who don't even know who lives in that famous 5-acre compound with the massive tower and miles of loop antenna.

My only speculation is that a couple people could better spend their time being prepared for visits from law enforcement rather than using their platform to take more jabs at Art.

There's a reason why most public figures don't live in an exposed manufactured home in a sprawling scruffy NV town near Vegas (I have a friend living there). That a pot shot at Art didn't happen in the old days of C2C doesn't mean much. It happened last nigh. That Bell doesn't seem interested in "the celeb lifestyle" doesn't change the fact he is one. There's a lot more paranoia out there now.  Or someone may be pissed that Art's newest SW antenna screws up his view.  Or that putting satanists on his show is an affront to Jesus. Or think it would be a rush to pop off a few shots at Art Bells place.  It's not established that Bell's place was actually targeted, but having been to Pahrump, its hard to see how it was a random shooting.  I hope this doesn't re-open doubts for Art.
