How do you do it Brig.  It's an absolute overload out there, I have almost stopped listening to anything.  Tried to get through EOD with Dannion Brinkley (not heard from him in ages).  Stopped listening to Red Ice, Rense, Veritas, and JBW is another waste of time.  At my age, I'm shlepping around in the veg garden putting stuff away for all the horrendous times were are told are on the way. (starting to feel like Tasha Tudor - haha)  In a severe drought here and some wells are going dry.  Just enough spare time to run in and check the bellgab chickininnies.  I appreciate your synopsis of Johns' world view via drudge.  Thanks for all you do.

I read somewhere that a lot of blackmail goes on in politics, not just bribery...  I have no faith in anything anymore.  Other than the aches and pains, I'm glad I'm old, and don't have to live to see much more of it.

To be honest, I thought Ep. 587 was pretty darn interesting to listen to.  They talked about all sorts of things including Fukushima, The Clintons and bankers, not just science.

Again I listened.  I've heard McCanny  talk many times. He has a smooth delivery and speaks with an assured confidence.  His ideas about things are certainly novel and entertaining and who doesn't like an iconoclast who goes after the smug elite in any field of endeavor?  The problem is that he is demonstrably and definitively wrong about almost everything he espouses.   With me it got to the point that I had to weigh the actual imperical evidence against unproven speculation no matter how attractive the concept.  He has yet to show anything in the way of experimentation that can be duplicated or a validated formula that supports his theories and he has had a while to do so.  If you listen to guys like this for the entertainment value or are into conspiracy theories in a big way, by all means, have fun. However, there are other edgy scientists out there with unconventional theories that, though they have yet to be proven and have their share of credentialed naysayers, have a much more solid theoretical basis than anything McCanny has come up with. However, since no one knows what they are talking about and every single one of his many detractors is a victim of willfull ignorance and is part of a vicious conspiracy against new ideas, McCanny is free to ignore the mountain of contrary evidence that they present and claim the deck is stacked.  Looks like Wells is selecting his guests from the "Who's Who of the American Lunarati.  (If Lunarati isn't a word it should be.). I'm sick of him! I am not going to re-subscribe to CTM when it expires in September; I've had enough of John B. Wells!  I will do what I did when I cancelled last time for 6 months; watch the ones I'm interested in on Youtube while fast-forwarding through his ignorance-based rants.
