a fake MV?

I'm a little bit behind but I'm devastated that that wasn't our MV.

Art was almost hesitant to answer the call.

Didja know that "Drive" wasn't sung by Ric Ocasek?  (Fun fact.)

I truly didn't know that.

Oh god, I know. I've tried the dried cougar urine, the pepper and soap concoctions, even the Great Wall of SciFiAuthor failed because these things can jump like you wouldn't believe. So I just try to grow enough for everybody. Corn is hopeless, I think we've gotten five ears this year out of the +-100 plants I started with.

I've heard Cayanne pepper works, never tried it though. Those bastards ate all my tobacco one night though. Pissed me off. Tobacco is hard to get started from seed.

Yeah, it had the hair on the back of my neck standing on end a bit just for a second there.

Good luck! I'm not saying it is all good but I think a big problem of this anti-"stuff" (Monsanto the devil) is a bad thing, though I do have issues with them. Should be another thread (or these days in politics since everything is, apparently.) But if more people tried to grow stuff, even at home and small plots, there would be more nuance with regard to pesticides, herbicides, GMOs, and strains. Not that ALL are good!!! But in general. Too many in cities just figure "food will appear" and not understand animal husbandry, growing crops, the financial hardships of same, etc.
ps: I also can't help laugh at the great movie "Seems Like Old Times" with Goldie Hawn's corn crop and the antics and hilarious movie....

Correct.  Ric wrote it, but Benjamin, the bassist, sang it.

I made this really nasty concoction once of Dove soap, Cayenne pepper and garlic and then let it sit out in spray bottles in the sun for several days. It smelled god awful, I mean, unreal. It was the only thing I've found that does deter rabbits . . . but the deer just laugh at me. I'm sure the one outside was just peeking in to mock me as it was heading off to destroy the herb garden. I've always wanted to try growing tobacco. I've never tried it.

trostol

wow..that very thing was said on GN show a few months back...blah

Was Slenderman based on Myrddraal from The Wheel of Time series?

Question for Art: Why do you hate MV?  ;)

Correct.  Ric wrote it, but Benjamin, the bassist, sang it.

He also sang Just What I Needed.  Everybody thinks Ric sang that.

Really want to ward-off deer? Place a cardboard cutout of Ted Nugent in the garden and put down a few spent shotgun shells here and there...

Have you read the entire WoT series?  If so, you get fifty bonus points.   :D

Ok now it's my turn to be schooled.  I didn't know about that one.  What a great song too.

That might also keep out the illegals cutting fences, trashing out your land, and breaking wells. Just saying...I think about getting one of those solar-powered blue-tooth speakers and putting an old iTouch playing some "Strangle-hold" on the lease.....

(otherwise known as Republicans)

Art really needs to do a show on Evil Clowns.
