Also of a troubling note the Icelandic Embassy also is housed in that building. So you got Sweden's Embassy, Iceland's Embassy, some Chinese apparatchiks , and some supposed Biden incest, corruption, and meth going on, in a place that, technically (at least some of it) is sovereign territory legally. I don't like how Iceland appears to be in the same bed with Sweden. A classic pincer move with dire implications for the sardine and herring fishing.

   Ha, you need to be a consultant for the police, and more lucratively private agencies, for identifying patterns in sweaters and such. A side-hustle as they call it. I posted about this tragic incident before because 1) I was surprised the area had BBQ and 2) there was some kind of relationship with Snoopy Doggy Dogg with the owner of the Rib Joint. 3) here there is a sad amount of BBQ places that 'go up,' even without arson. In one tragic case our FD 'ignored' 911 calls because they thought 'they were just smoking some briskets.' The place was across the street from their station even.

I was unaware of the nefarious Icelandic angle in this case.

It is!  Wool, especially the minimally processed Icelandic variety used to knit lopapeysur, is naturally fire-retardant.  The best smoking jackets are made of wool for this reason, though they are increasingly difficult to find.  Your synthetics will go up like the Hindenburg.

Linie. I buy Aalborg for my Danish cousin for Xmas gift. But, basically, one can only find those two brands down here. And you need to be in a major city to find them even. I have a friend who gets lots of different varieties but he goes over there for summers and so brings back. There are a lot of varieties in Norway and even 'homemade' stuff (because booze costs $ there.)

Strange family. Apparently now Hunter is an acclaimed artist! I wonder how many Chinese are buying his art on Etsy? It actually makes some sense because art is a good way to launder money or hide assets because prices vary with taste and time, there are faked art, value is determine by taste and the market, etc. Often it is portable and easy to transfer, avoiding capital controls, transfer fees or taxes.
