That opening guitar riff sounds like the start of Pinball Wizard.

Yes .. very, very similar. Pinball Wizard was released in '69 and although Venus was written in '69 it wasn't a hit until 1970 .. so maybe that riff was added a bit after it was written ... either way both were well over a decade before Bananarama re-made it a #1 hit in '86.

OOOOHHHH...ya gonna watch me radio with pictures, aint ya?

Just a few more minutes and you'll be on MY side of midnight!

Thanks Suacy.
Previewed the posted link last night - looks good
The [fake] History channel also just had a program on about this. Of course, as usual for the History channel, they found nothing.
Now we all know that the History channel gives us the truth r-i-i-i-i-g-ht ?

never got into Ab Fab

vastly prefer Father Ted, MP, IT Crowd, Blacks Books..Keeping Up Appearances

All good shows, but Ab Fab just spoke to me.  I really think the British do it so well, don't you?

they do cause i think..the less amount of shows allow it to put more into it..most rarely go more then 6..8..10 episodes before the season is over

but going back further..Open All Hours..Allo Allo...Good Neighbors..Yes Minister ..all old..all stand up now lol

They've gotten over themselves.

French/Saunders a great team.  Their accents make them cuter and funnier.

WOTR

There it is.  Now it seems that she is getting into specifics and it is getting more interesting.  I do think that she will be great as a recurring guest.  Once she gets more comfortable talking about her thoughts and beliefs she will get better and better.

Talking about communicating with the dead, her belief in intent, and talking about a spell book and her idea of black magic and personal gain.  This is getting really good and it is almost over.

I look forward to her next appearance.

Also by her words I would say I wouldn't trust her as a lawyer...why? Cause she just said she would defend a guilty person, a person she KNEW was guilty, she would pretend to put on a fight despite her thoughts. IN order for her to give a real defense she would have to assume there was no guilt on the part of her client, if not then she was lying in her defense and that would make it a mistrial. To me that would seem worse....now if they actually were innocent, she would likely subconsciously give them a poor defense cause of her bias. If you knew they were guilty you should not defend them, that would violate a code of ethics, one would have to not profess any sense of the guilt or innocence of the person, as soon as she were to assume the candidate maybe guilty I think she would have to recuse herself. Who's to say since she said she would defend someone she knew was guilty that she also wouldn't prosecute someone she knew was innocent? Her words were not very accurate or correct, she stumbled and mis-spoke maybe, I'll give her that much, but I wouldn't let her in my courtroom if she said that, or at the least have her removed.
