The reason I asked is because I can't think of any, so wondered if you could.  But I'd never heard of Kaku lo, those many years ago, when Art first started bringing him on, so maybe he can "discover" someone new.

I'd love to hear some Druids and experts in Egyptology!  Hopefully she's on it. :-)

Wow â€" you’re all so much nicer than I am.  I thought it was crystal clear that David Sereda has no idea whatsoever what he’s talking about.  And I was amazed that Art didn’t snap after David said “that’s how radio works” for the second or third time…Art has a much better understanding of how radio works than David does.  It must’ve been agonizing to refrain from spelling it out for him.

But it’s nice to see that you all are much more forgiving.  Somewhere along the line I’ve lost my ability to enjoy a guest offering no scientifically valid understanding whatsoever ~:/

It doesn't take an engineer to know the fundamentals of radio.  Sereda doesn't understand them, but Art does.  Several people in this thread seem to think that they didn't understand what Sereda was talking about because it went over their heads, but the truth is that it they didn't understand what he was saying because he wasn't making any sense, lol.

For example, Sereda wrongly stated that quartz is a semiconductor (trying to save his assertion that quartz is used in transistors - it's not).  Quartz is one of the best insulators in the world, even better than mica:  http://www.phys.hawaii.edu/ams02/outreach/em_insulators.php

I also remember his interview with Boyd Bushman in his otherwise pointless "From Here to Andromeda" film(?) - he flatly stated that aluminum isn't conductive.  Aluminum is a very good conductor in fact, which is why it's used as grounding cable for lightning rods.

Sereda loves to present himself as some kind of scientist, but he seriously has no grasp of the subject whatsoever.  You could hear that Art knew that Sereda stepped in poop several times, but instead of busting him outright, he chose a disapproving grunt instead, lol.

David Sereda is only good for comedic value.  He's sort of a "Dr. Venkman" of paranormal science, but without the PhD:

I just started listening... for a little before work.  Already I'm excited.  Roegan know's his stuff when it comes to a lot of obscure shit, philosophy, drugs, psychology,  the dude can talk about anything.  His own podcast is a great place to see guests that Art would have on.  When I first read the comments in the beginning of the thread I was thinking "whats wrong w these people??? they don't like joe roegan?"
but yeah I'm already  liking this.

You should check out his podcasts with Hancock, Randall Carlson, Steve Greer, NDT. He really is interested in a lot of the same things Art is.
