Technically, I think, the Romans crucified Him and the Jews (mainly, likely, the Pharisees and Sadducees demanded it) others just clamored for it and encouraged it as public spectacle and fun (look today at the various, especially, Muslim enjoy their stonings, beheading, etc, or as did the Romans at the Coliseum etc.) I've heard that Pilot used many methods to stop the cruification because he feared riots etc and so had Jesus scourged because, technically, under Jewish law that wasn't allowed but the Sanhedrin ignored that. Also I've heard some claim that the Sanhedrin wasn't legal per the rules due to quorum etc. Ah, which ever way, you are right on the Muslim stuff. So the fact that she is regarded as possibly the worst high tech CEO of all time and that she tried to stiff some of her creditors from her U.S Senate run  even though she is worth over $100 million and that quite a number of her staffers from that Senate run now HATE her for reasons that have nothing to do with that she tried to stiff them as well is no big deal, but that she says some nice things about an empire that ended almost 100 years ago, is a deal breaker to you?

That was a complete failure and was one of the reasons she was fired.
