Flash Flood Watch For My Area

* THROUGH 3 AM MDT TONIGHT

* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY
  HEAVY RAINFALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT IS GREATEST FOR SMALL STREAMS...
  CREEKS...NORMALLY DRY WASH BEDS...SLOT CANYONS...SLICK ROCK
  AREAS...AND BURN SCARS. HEAVY RAINFALL CAN ALSO CAUSE MUD
  DEBRIS FLOWS AND ROCKSLIDES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.

It is pretty dark here right now. Hopefully it can cool things down a bit.

In the low 70s here.  I'm enjoying the cooler temps.  Our drought conditions are not anywhere near California's, but we can certainly use the rain.

The implication is that if one doesn't 420 BLAZE IT EVERY DAY, rainstorms will result. A twist on "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." I, of course, do not actually hold with such theory or practice.

The irony is that legalizing the outdoor growing of hemp is what causes rainstorms in Colorado, but that was a level of subtext I didn't expect most readers to pick up on.

Honestly, I think I am much funnier when I don't explain these things, but I don't mind mixing it up a little from time to time. I would not wish for anyone to feel like their ignorance is being lampooned.
