A friend of mine thinks these impressions of reincarnation are false but with a basis.  He doesn't think the individual reincarnates, 1 to 1 body, but that the experience of ancestors echoes as memories in their descendants & sometimes in people other than their descendants.  The greater the impression someone made in life, the greater the impression that person makes on this group memory stream.  So it would be more likely that one would remember the experience of influential or famous persons.

Yes, a multitude of some cellular memory (lives) and I think Brian Weiss touched on this in his book 'Many Lives, Many Masters'

Cool thanks that's pretty interesting.  I often have an internal knowledge I'm dreaming and if it's a cool dream I can sort of keep it going and even somewhat direct it.  The weirdest thing is they often take place in locations that are nowhere I've ever been but have these vivid details I still remember.

Sometimes I have dreams about the town I live in. The places are familiar, but the buildings are different.   Sometimes the buildings are like from the Jetsons.
