We invented the maps in Iraq, so we can also redraw them as well it would seem. Forgetting we did this makes our FP kind of anachronistic or non-self aware.

The Brits drew up that map after 1917 when they took over the region when the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

Art plays a lot of commercials.

I'm betting it's commercial heavy right now until they know they've got enough subs to support things. I suspect it will reduce as time goes on.

Well, I'm gonna go ahead and say it.  I am very disappointed that Art has already jumped into politics.  First Donald Trump and then the political scene around the world. This is NOT what I was hoping for.

Coast already has this kind of stuff covered.  :(  :(  :(

SaucyRossy

How fricken cool is it that were listening to a LIVE Art Bell show as he interviews a spook.

Why is Jordan such a bad ass country yet the rest of the Middle East is a mess? Those folks need LSD, Psilocybin, laptops and Playboys air dropped to them en masse.

And MDMA and very loud techno music.  Graham  Hancock is right when it comes to the Gods and mind altering drugs.

Has anyone ever actually in the media ever watched an actual beheading video? It seems like a story where people just hear about it and talk about it but never actually see what they maybe talking about. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I would bet the vast majority of media presenters have never watched these videos. It reminds me of VIDEODROME where watching the video makes you sick or causes you to become mentally ill....

according to Dave its all fake and done on green screen

I have seen a couple, if it helps.  Yes, they exist.  I am fortunate in that I am relatively detached and the image just "goes away."  I don't necessarily suggest watching them.

Now, think of how many people would judge me as horrible for having seen them.  If you are in media, you could never admit to seeing them, even if you had.  You would be hated.

"Once it is given, a dog’s love is forever. Bob was a cattle dog, a dingo mix, and his love for Buddy was like that. When Buddy left the ranchâ€"for an important reason but not one any dog could understandâ€"Bob did the only thing a loyal dog is going to do: he followed his master. He followed him across the night prairie, along the white roads and across the vast stretching plains, until finally he reached the town where Buddy’s last scent slipped away on the wind.

This is the story of Bob’s journey to locate Buddy, and the courage of both dog and master, each of them doing what he had to do to find his true way. On this journey, Bob comes to a moment of choice that will forever define him. He will take either the hard path that leads to Buddy or the easy one that will fill his starving belly.

The road to Dog Heaven is a lot like our own road, full of hardship and danger and temptation.

This is the story of one dog’s journey to that heaven."

I like Whitley! I believe his alien stories as well. I might have to pick this book up

The caller that says Donald FIGHTS and that is why people like him, is 100% right.

People are sick of spineless wormy professional politicians.

Thank you, that was I. I've listened to Art since the 90's.

I don't agree with Trump with some things, I didn't care for his McCain remarks, but people are tired of RINOs. People liked the attack on McCain because they don't like McCain, not necessarily the message itself.  For all we know, he's punching into thin air, but's he still punching.

Thanks to Art, I now know about this site. Howdy, y'all.

Some people have only seen staged videos, and believe that is what they look like. Further, every beheading is different, like a snowflake. I can see how someone could be easily mislead.

Faddis is probably a little more legit than Chuck Barris was.  :)

Need to have this guy on to get the larger picture with regard to ISIS....he wrote a great book called Mohammed code! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcr8mI2HB08

Howard Bloom? He's a C2C regular. Dave has him on when he's confused about current events. Not that it does any good.

Donald was only a brief mention.  ISIS is at least a long form interview with somebody with some clue rather than Jorch's "security expert".  Having said that, I hope that it is only mixed in with other stuff and is not a staple.  I am actually enjoying this a little.  It is interesting to hear more than just sound bites on the subject.

***Disclaimer, I missed the first hour.***

I believe that Art has always had shows that covered political content.

That was my point.....we was Western Civ. I studied in college, well aware of WW1. We invented the lines on the map, our culture, unless you claim the Brits are not part of the West cause we're Merica! We had a part in that drawing, don't doubt it, it may not be in all history books but we always play a part in Europe's politics, look at how we got caught spying on all of them over the last decade or so, we've always been over there and they over here, just the way it works. BP carved the middle east up mostly.
