Off topic, but I just am feeling really good today and thought I would share. I picture how I want my life daily. I day dream about it, and I swear when I do this consistently it works. It's like I will myself into my dreams. We make our own reality

I don't often get the opportunity to listen "live" and I have little time during most days to listen to every podcast that I would like. But last night, I was all set to listen to Heather. Then the power went out. DAMNIT, came back on about 4:30 this morning.

And now... on top of it all. My wife broke her hand yesterday and I have to take her to a hand surgeon this morning for consultation. My wife is a trooper, didn't take any pain meds. I would have been half way through a bottle of Jack and a full bottle of oxy.

Well...I have to say that I have learned a great deal in recent weeks about the tiny, tiny little world negativity creates for itself and just how desperately people will go to maintain their illusions and convince themselves that they are positive, innocent and uninvolved.

That’s called projecting, Lasha.

Not to reopen this discussion...especially when better topics (such as spam!) are on the table...but I have a serious plea for eagle: please assist Lasha in getting help.

I may be wrong, eagle. You may agree with Lasha’s premise that she is just defending herself. But, I ask you to step back and read the many truly ugly things Lasha has written over the past few months on the forum. I think you might see that it was often unprovoked. This morning is a perfect example. No one at Bella-Haven (except 007) provoked Lasha. In fact, poor Serenity tried to engage her in a very warm way and she responded negatively to him. I really can’t figure out what her purpose was. It certainly wasn’t to have any kind of meaningful discussion of perceived wrongs, because you don’t lob insult after insult at people and expect them to engage.

I’m truly sorry that Lasha received such vile personal messages as she described. I can’t imagine how that might feel. But Lasha is not an innocent victim. Her recollections of past events regarding Nancy are her interpretations, her perspective. As a listener, it seemed that Lasha handled her abrupt departure from Bella-Haven very poorly and unprofessionally. I did not hear Nancy divulge Lasha’s secrets publicly. I think Gabby’s explanation makes sense. I imagine it was said inadvertently, in Nancy’s stream-of-consciousness way, rather than maliciously. I listen to Future Theater regularly, and I don’t recall her speaking critically about Lasha.

All I see in many of Lasha’s statements is textbook paranoia...
“She went way out of her way to rally her trolls against me...and everyone here knows it.” “What I do know is that Nancy had some sort of plan for what my role would be in Bella-Haven....a role of chump or idiot or victim.”

I can’t speak to what transpired privately between Lasha and Nancy. One thing I do know, though, is that the amount of anger Lasha is harboring is very harmful. I know from personal experience that if left unchecked, this hatred and paranoia can lead to serious health problems. Please stop enabling her, eagle, and urge her to get some help.
