For me, you hit on an important word when you spoke about your tarot.   Insight ... yes, that is it ... for me, Astrology through my life has been an avocation (a nice hobby, I thought it could supplement me through times of unemployment, BUT I'm not a salesperson ... so I threw out that idea eons ago, and just have collected all this great professional astrological software along the way).   I also went to several professional astrological conferences; but they were way over my head ... or maybe I was having trouble with the b.s. factor ... not sure; just will say, it didn't work for me.

Yet Insight is something that Astrology has given ME to assist ME to understanding certain time-periods in my life.  I use it as a positive tool to get myself through some crises periods in life.  It helps me to build a time-frame of understanding certain difficult cycles that occur in My life ... and also gives me a time-reference to when they may end.  And I've learned that after a hard aspect which offers challenges (Conjunction, Square, Opposition), an easy aspect occurs (Trine, Sextile), and if I learned whatever lessons were presented to me and that I learned from during those challenging times ... I receive some positive stuff ... could be even a personal insight that I find important.

I don't think people view women as second class citizens, I think they view them as unreliable because of their frequent emotional reactions.  I think its women that hold themselves back.

Chris, I think Rhonda will retire to acting. I can't see anyone giving her any kind of a match ever. She's a once in an era phenomenon, like Joe said.

The attraction to UFC initially for me was to see now the different martial arts styles would do against each other. Now it's all MMA, and that's fine, but there are no longer pure "styles", so now it's interesting to see how a particularly strong ground game does against a knock out specialist and that sort of thing. It's still good, but not like the old days when you could imagine and then see how the different styles did against each other.

I don't buy the theory that pot is completely harmless.  I'm not the only person I know,  that has severe reactions to pot.  I just recently heard of a person I know very well, that had happily used pot for decades, who one day suddenly found their selfey having a severe anxiety reaction every time they smoked pot.

That happens with milk for some people also, brig.

Food allergies can cause fairly severe anxiety reactions, and sometimes they come on out of nowhere.

Absolutely, you'll get no argument from me, same with peanuts, ssri's, pretty much everything is bad for someone.  I'm for legalization of everything, but I think to tell people that anything is completely harmless would be misleading IMO.  Seems to me everything in nature, has good things and bad things about them, including people.

PS:  I should probably tell you my lungs have a bad reaction to bleach fumes, and many perfumes lol's.  I know other people that have the same reaction to them.  Do I think they should be illegal, or banned in public places because of that? NO!  of course not.

Lou is talking about scans of the Pyramids.  I wonder do they/are they able to.... take scans of the planets ?  It would be a lot more revealing than photos. You would be able to see if there is any activity inside the planet, and exactly what the entire surface looks like. There would be no need to interpret shadows in photographs, to determine if they are natural or man made structures.

LOL Nancy, yeah, you can find the Microsoft LifeChat 3000's on Ebay, with free shipping even, but no doubt you have to wait for them longer than you do ordering them from Amazon.  I see some right now on Ebay "Buy It Now" for 14.95 with free shipping. If you are willing to wait and watch, you can wait for the ones that come up for auction, like I did, and get them even cheaper, but the free shipping took another week wait for me.  That goes back to my theory that there are good things and bad things about everything.
