you haven't lived until you thrown a bottle at someone  :D
I threw a Dixie Cup at someone once.  Does that count?

I have heard one or two of his calls into the gabcast. Totally different voice than Ross Mitchell. I used to know his name but I have forgotten it.

So I've pulled the plug on The Other Side,
Richard's crap I can no longer abide.
Out of this gig I hope M got some enjoyment,
Now that she faces prolonged unemployment.
With that five bucks a month now filling my coffers,
I'm scrounging the podcasts for favorable offers.
I ask for little, just one small perk,
A host that shows up and acts not like a jerk.

Only if you had downed the cheap whiskey contained therein first.

hoagie should watch the expanse  :D

You know what, he really should!  The idea of colonizing the planets would appeal to him - with the engineering, socio-economic factors, and of course the politics involved.  He might even pick up on a Heinlein influence in there.

Just out of curiosity, did the recurring billing hit your account on the day you signed up (e.g. the 20th of every month)?  Or was it debited at the beginning of each month?

(Sure, the former makes the most sense, but this is Hoagland we're talking about, so I am trying not to take anything for granted, including subscribers being billed only once every month).

Yeah but he'd be so conflicted about the Mars-dwellers, they're not exactly the laid-back librarians he imagines.   ;)

Oh, man, I remember this show.  Awkward and awful at first, but then something happens and it becomes wonderful, and Hoagie makes a new friend (with benefits--of the interdimentional type).
Plus: Hoagie is thrilled to discover that he is a star-child.

Surely Hoagy will do a show some how some way on election night. I don't see how he could resist. He was talking politics at some point in every freakin show for the last 2 or 3 months.

We need to lobby the new Congress to fund NHR Nat'l Hoagie Radio.

I could just picture him highjacking some other guys show and screaming about how THE MODEL predicted the outcome.

Hoagie is returning but will not be back with KCAA. At least that is how I read it.

I think he is probably negotiating every Thursday and Friday off with his new provider.

Day I signed up as I recall.  Never had a first day of month billing.

Or maybe new CB channel that Hoagie could share with Art.
