it happened at the peak of their success, he bought some performance or racing yacht and it tipped over on him and he had to be rescued from underneath. i think he was treading water with his head between the water level and the inverted floor of his boat. i know he almost drowned and i remember the rescue pics vividly. i watched the rio video and saw the boat and was reminded of simon's NDE back in duran's heyday.
