lol im just burned out on the fake sadness that people give when celebs die lol

I went to my nephew's graduation today and his grandfather was almost in tears over Ali being in the hospital about to die. I talked to him about it because he seemed really upset. I think what was really upsetting him was the fact that he is the same age as Ali.

i can see it totally..but pokemon was in 95 lol seems a bit of a stretch in a way

I've never played it because it seemed like it was marketed to little kids and I was full grown by the time these games came out. Now I kinda wanna try it.  ;D

Geller believes Kadabra to be a libelous mockery of his image

Libelous mockery?  As a general rule, parody is protected speech.

Fact: this thread would die with him.

You over value his importance to my thread. I'd simply replace him with trostol

Boxing was a big thing for men of that generation. I have some fond memories of watching some of those fights with my dad as a wee tot. Now it's all MMA, dude.  :P

You would think it would be given that he's been somewhat of a celebrity since the 60s.

I have been pissed at Uri Geller for several years. We used to exchange emails discussing 11:11. I sent him an email concerning the Red Sox wining the World Series and breaking the "Curse of the Bambino" in 2004. The Red Sox were down 0-3 in the ACLS and went on to win 4 games to 3. They then swept the St. Louis Cardinals in 4 games to win the World Series, breaking the curse that started in 1920.

The final game of that World Series was the 1,111 post season game played in MLB history. When I shared this information with him, he never responded.

That's nothing; sceptics have been angry at Geller for decades.

I don't think Uri is recounting a war story, sounds more like his first romp with a dude.

I have watches that never started working when he did the magic hocus pocus mind Conciousness experiment on C2C as well.
