Queued this album now-thank you. I didn't know these guys sang "Lonesome Loser"
Their greatest hits album is pretty good.  ;)

Here's another little known group you may like. It's different if that's what you're looking for. More to the psychedelic side.

James Burke tonight. That's promising -- Burke won't stand for any torsion field bullshit.

I'm shocked Hoagland got Burke, so much so that I wonder if Burke is setting Hoagland up for an epic debunking. Even if not, this could make for one of the best interviews ever on DMDN, Burke's an awesome guest.

Wow. I'm impressed with tonight's guest. Should be an interesting show. Real Science! I might actually listen instead of just using it as background for posting

I just hope he talks fast. Hoagland has a bad habit of asking a question, and as soon as the guest starts speaking, stopping them to ask another question. RCH has the ADD worse than me.

i dont have high hopes for this lol
Cheer up, trostal. As a wise man once said, choose joy.  It may suck but even in its suckiness we can find entertainment

Real Science vs Pseudoscience and Richard trying to maintain alpha male status. Could be epic  8)

Wow, yeah, what a great get.  The Day the Universe Changed is one of my fave series ever.  It's either gonna be an intriguing discussion of cool concepts or a colossal head-butting match - either way, I'm in!

There ought to be monuments built for him; his 'Connections' series from the 70's should be compulsory viewing for school kids. Oh, Hoagland will be way out of his depth.

As someone who's spent way too much time on the GNS thread, I can vouch for this.

I agree. Watching James Burke and Carl Sagan as a kid is what got me interested in science and technology in the first place.
