So far I've learned that Hoagie 1) continues to have a deep inner need to prove his knowledge of space mission details and 2) was once on Charlie Rose

Listening to my father and grandfather talk about their war time adventures, I always wondered if the war stories weren't mostly fabricated and the R&R stories the true ones.
Heh heh, you may be on to something - There's an old saying in the military - "Hurry up and wait".

Great activity here today.. Makes me wonder how many listeners they have left.

Thank you Logan, the keeper of my title. I was just passing through tonight. Guest doesn't interest me with a dead thread and a lack of motivation to change that. Busy past couple of days  ;D

Fwiw I'm kinda enjoying this off-beat show tonite.  But I'm also playing video games while eating an omelette which is helping.

Stan's always fairly decent to listen to IMO. Knows his field, but hasn't had much new info for a while ;)
Good to see you again Dapper Squirrel.  :)

Doing a minimal install on a different box right now too.

Thanks SL5, you too.  And btw I'm listening to this on a dusty old netbook, saved with a nice lightweight linux distro.   ;)

I bought that book by Martin Caidin you mentioned on the night the S.S. United States replay was on. I'm half-way through it now. Thanks for mentioning it, it's been fun to read!  8)

Braaps to my thread. Lets see how Hoagie baits and switches us tonight!
