Agreed. I have never really loved an adaptation of his on either the big or small screen. Molly is so rad though. Her film version was crap though.

As part of my project working through a classic sci-fi list, I read this just a couple years ago.  I was surprised how weird it was, and can only imagine how bizarre it must have seemed thirty years ago.  I don't know how it could be captured on film.  Would have to be almost impressionistic.

if you think Neuromancer is weird..read the Marîd Audran series

hmmm.,.R.A. Salvatore did a Tarzan novel

Salvatore did the 'Magician' series of books. Excellent !

He also did one called 'Fairy Tale' - a true Mind-fuck horror story.

I think I'm out. This woman took 30 minutes of my life explaining the character development of characters in her fictional world based on stories and movies from my great grandparents and grandparents time.

Be sure to autoerotically asphyxiate yourself so people 500 years from now have something to write speculative fiction about!

I love erb though. His books are great.
There are still a pretty rabid group of Tarzan collectors who can be found at most antiquarian book fairs, hold conventions in Tarzana, etc.  Mostly old farts, of course.

pate

Tarzan try read book, Tarzan no understand book.
