This episode is weird. I can't tell if I like or dislike this.

Elizabethan-era fictional history, Tarzan's sex etiquette and Hoagland speculating on Disney conspiracies?

This needs to be the description in the archives.

Wait until she starts talking about Atlantos. It's gonna get way weirder.

I just read the blurb of the book from her site.

It looks good. Even seems like it has some Sumerian mixed in [enki/enlil]

Is anyone else hearing a sound like from that Trek episode where everyone's speeded up so fast they sound like little screeching bugs?

Sounds like there is a cricket or some clinging jewelry somewhere in there.

prefer Cyberpunk over Shadowrun but i would take either of them as a show lol

Neuromancer is one ambitious movie to make

Tarzan as sort of science fiction/fantasy. Uh huh. This is what happens when things get licensed and commercialized and other authors make bucks writing glorified fan fiction. It goes all apeshit crazy.

Yup !

.......I'm trying to hang with this, I'm trying.

I'm listening to a grown woman talk about her fan fiction version of a story from the 1920s...

trostol

that sounds liek an awful change to make to a classic character

As part of my project working through a classic sci-fi list, I read this just a couple years ago.  I was surprised how weird it was, and can only imagine how bizarre it must have seemed thirty years ago.  I don't know how it could be captured on film.  Would have to be almost impressionistic.

Hoping for Atlantos.

Agreed. I have never really loved an adaptation of his on either the big or small screen. Molly is so rad though. Her film version was crap though.
