When the group assembled, Hoagland explained that there was a problem with his equipment having no permit, and therefore he needed them to "create a diversion" and so they wouldn't in fact be with him when he turned on the Inaccutron. Did they get a refund? I don't think so. Neither did the Facebook fans who contributed $5000 toward his canceled trip to Giza.

What do you think of this behavior by Hoagland? I know what I think.

Funny enough, I'd never seen video of Hoagland before, only heard him on radio or podcasts. So, a few days ago I was watching some Youtube video of Hoagland that made me feels some compassion toward him. Not enough that I believed what he was pitching but he just seemed like this frail old wizard at the podium trying to convince us all that magic is still real. There was something sadly poetic about it; and in that moment I thought that maybe I shouldn't be so hard on the old guy. He's a bit of a kook but essentially harmless. Then I hear stuff like this and get all turned around again. Thanks for the update, expat. You always have the lowdown on Uncle Hoaxy
