LOL - There's almost 30 scripts running on the player page. Whoever set up the talkstream page knew what they were doing as far as the js goes. Anyone that connects to that page has a web beacon follow them around the net. I won't use the players because they send your mac address to whoever is running the site / stream. That means you can be blocked from the stream unless you use a different device if they decide to black-list your device. They're using a shoutcast server though, using the standard port.

Post more details on this on tech thread. Seriously I wonder about this. With people using YouTube and Streams and the tracking ability, for simple advertising or for gov't tracking. To me, it seems like a net to capture, aggregate all the transmissions to this format and sites. Why I like radio and especially SW though, maybe, there is a way to track that. But I would think not the "listener" side. As an aside I don't get the "calls" from govt's to ban content on these (and social platforms) if anything they are an easy, or relatively easy, way to identify "threats."

The Springfield Science Museum in Massachusetts.  I guess back then you could get the job based on enthusiasm.  I do know he has no degree.
