You only need to provide Paypal with bank account information if you're trying to set up a seller account. Buyers or donors can just use their credit/debit card to pay. I have to say I wish you could sign up month by month, in a la carte fashion, rather than an ongoing subscription.  I'll probably end up paying every month anway, but I'd like the flexibility of picking months, since I have an erratic schedule where some months I'd want the downloads, and others where I wouldn't.  Another possibility is to do kind of like Netflix has where you can put your subscription on hiatus for like up to three mos. then reactiviate it.
