Hey do you remember the secret guest years back that claimed he & a few hunting buddies came across Bigfoot & he claimed he shot & killed one. Had to crawl inside some thick brush to get to it. He said he buried it & only him and his hunting buds knew the secret burial location.
Anyone have an update on that story?  Debunked or otherwise?

Thanks...

Hasn't been debunked as far as I know. That's one of my favorite episodes, partly because of Robert W Morgan. That guy's funny because he thinks so highly of himself. I just read in a another thread that Art said he lost the map Bugs gave him.So there goes that idea of it ever getting released.

Yeah that was awesome. I remember at some point during the interview, it came up about fear of murder charges due to the near human experience. Over the years I have wondered what ever came of that story. Thanks for the reply & update.

Laterz...😃

debunked Bug's Bigfoot. http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread430615/pg1 bunch of little things like this "debunking". It was a great story until he had an excuse for everything.

The funniest part of all is that Art said he misplaced the map when he moved.

Yeah, not the kind of thing you would loose if you had that much of a professed interest in Bigfootz. I really loved the story though.

Well damn! That sux.
Guess all we can do now is wait for the next great Bigfoot story to come along. Should I say Sasquatch? Since a few say Bigfoot is politically incorrect? Heh  ::)

Normal-Foot

There was another interview Art did with Todd Standing that I downloaded at the time (and checking my ipod it was in April 2007).  If you don't know who Todd Standing is, he's the guys who claimed to have high-def Bigfoot video and was on a few TV shows with "Survivorman" Les Stroud --- and then abruptly left the wacky world of Bigfoot when nobody gave him money on a go-fund-me site.

Anyway -- totally out of the blue -- Bugs called in during the interview! At the time I was thrilled to hear from him because I'd been wondering what had happened to the map. As I recall things still seemed the same: Art had the map, and wouldn't release it, and Bugs told the same story.

I'd also heard that Bugs has since been debunked, and you know, it kind of bummed me to hear that. That initial show back in the day with Robert W Morgan was one of the first Art Bell episodes I ever stumbled upon while cruising the dial, and I was absolutely hooked.
