Art's Going Back to C2C?

Last night I was listening to C2C and a caller asked George Snoory if Art was coming back to C2C- he said he'd heard it somewhere. Art replied that he received seven- specifically 7!- emails from Art and though he was not going to disclose the contents (I guess we're supposed to think he's a hero for that) he would say he has been in touch with Art and does not know anything. Now I know it's not many letters difference and he may have meant "several" but still I wonder what's up. Anybody know anything about Art going back to C2C? :)

Even Art doesn't know if he's coming back to broadcasting until he reviews a contract that is being prepared.  I'm tempted to give you a definite yes that he will be returning, but given past experience I'll not believe it until the show (working title Midnight in the Desert) starts in July/August via online streaming.  So no, Art won't be returning to C2C, but I'm cautiously optimistic he will be returning to an internetz near you.

I didn't know that Hell was freezing over!  ;D

I'll go out on a limb and say no, Art Bell is not headed back to C2C.

I think Snoory was just trying to act like him and Art are best pals. I don't see Art going back to C2C.

Right now Art is at this level

They were probabaly all negative emails saying F you George.

I believe the contents of the letters were
To George:
  From Art:
           Dear Sir,
Please go Fuck Yourself by Jumping off a bridge while a garbage scow full of of soiled Depends
from the local nursing homes is passing under it! I'll only go back to C2C when your lowdown
four flushing stinking carcass is being munched on by depraved vultures in the High Desert.
Sincerely the Once, Always and ever will be the KING of Late Night Radio,

Art going back to C2C is like that bad relationship where the girl goes back to the abusive boyfriend....no way Art has shit talked C2C enough to prove there is no way in any hell he'd go back to such an abusive place.  They treated him like shit and he's not someone to run back to such a place.

Yes, but C2C/Premiere has hemorrhaged listeners since he left.  Art could slander C2C all he wants, but when money/ratings are at stake, a lot can be forgiven - on Premieres' end anyway.  Art doesn't need to forgive anyone.

Yes and no...not with the situation that occurred and I'd like to think Art is more of a principles guy first than a money guy.

Oh, yes agreed.  What I mean is, if I was premiere I'd look the other way, because the show has become dismal and it's only a matter of time before it blows up.  And the only way to save it would be to bring back Art.  Although I don't think any amount of money could bring him back.

Ohhhhhhhh I agree 100% when you put it that way!  I'm positive even C2C would be welcoming with open arms if he ever expressed interest....but Art never would because he is a principle type of guy and does it for the love of radio/etc rather than just a dollar bill.  Which is why i love and respect him.

Which is why it was/is so crucial for this show to work out, succeed and be profitable.  It would change the game for internet radio.

You know you've become too addicted to Facebook when you start looking for a like button..

Anyway, yeah I agree, it's kind of like how Hulu and Netflix is now challenging tv, the next is for internet radio, podcasts, etc to show radio/satellite radio that it has some fierce competition.  Which I think Midnight in the Desert would do with such a big name like Art Bell.  Hopefully this is just a small bump in the road.
