It's been twenty five years since I've eaten mushrooms. I wouldn't now even if I had the chance. Had some fun back in the day!

We use to go to a covered bridge and follow the creek back to a waterfall called Lu Lu Falls. There was an island in the middle of the crick at the bottom of the falls and we would start a fire and jam to the Doors all night. The flames on the water and on the side of the creek created quite an experience. I only went with them about four times but they were doing it every weekend one summer.

Never did paper.  I saw my friends had a lot of issues and paper and liquid freaked me out because of how people were acting on it.  They are a wreck now from all the acid they did back then, so I am glad I never did it.

Amazing

Thanks for reminding me that I missed it, again. It's cool that you're here to help.

If you had subscribed to the ((( Jewtube )))) channel, you wouldn't of had this dilemma.

I've developed a high tolerance really early on, even though I've only done it only about 6 times in my life.

What I find interesting is:

“Some researchers are starting to discover that many of psilocybin’s beneficial effects on mental health conditions may be due it its ability to ‘reset’ a control system in the brain. The Default Mode Network, or DMN, has been linked to depression and other mood disorders when overactive. Psilocybin has been shown to dramatically reduce the activity of the DMN, which has recently been linked to its anti-depressant effects.”

Psilocybin tolerance dissipates after a few days though.

I wouldn't recommend anyone doing anything, illegal. The medical effects are quite beneficial, but again I wouldn't push that on anyone. Even a mild psychedelic like cannabis, can really cause a few issues for an individual. It's best to know what certain properties do, especially if your brain chemistry is already Shakey.

Maybe I should clearify what I meant by that, each time I took an 8th. It was really only the first time, that had me walking side ways. The rest of the time I was able to maintain. Maybe because each time I was also smoking  copious amounts of cannabis.

Also keep in mind, I always loved Soma's. I had also been taking those around that time line. Now that is something that will prepare you for any "science experiment".

Damn 3.5 g is a hell of a dose of shrooms. Combined with Soma? Damn, amazing.

Yeah, back then we (friends) used to hit a gravity bong and take Soma's like a boss. Think about it, I come from the land of nothing. We had to have fun other ways out here.

Terrance McKenna always recommended 7 grams for the kind of experience he was talking about. ;)

Crazy. Google is the Beast. And to think we all thought it was in some computer in Belgium.  ;)   I have speculated on the forum with Aldous once, and not sure if anyone has done, but what would happen if, in secret, one was dosed before sleep? Would your dreams become "real?" Without one's knowledge like a MK-Ultra etc etc experiment. Without one's knowledge so no "expectation" or even "worry about" effects but simply if the brain would reassemble dreams, which often are bizarre or incongruent, into a semblance of "normal" life experiences?

hahah yes I remember gravity bongs, and elevators.  Remember those?  You'd squat and hyperventilate, then take a bong rip and gradually stand.

Hehe... 4-5 grams is the most I've taken. I'm not sure I could handle 7 grams in one sitting.

2 liter but instead of slicing the bottom off... I'd poke 4 holes in the wedges. After pulling it out of the water, then you'd hit it like you would a bong. That would take you to outer space quick.

Well, I'm not sure that you COULD sleep, and if you could ...I've no conclusion. Maybe another poster will have an experience to share?

We never realised how fortunate we were growing up in the country but we always talk about it now when we bump into each other.
