He kept it moving with good content.

Daniel, I noticed that when your mic gets too much input it cuts out. You say it's quality so I'll cross that possibility off the list but perhaps you have a rolloff switch of some sort on it? Maybe turn that off if it's on.

Keeping it USB: I've watched some Youtube vids where the guy was using one of those Blue snowball mics and it sounded good to me. I think they're pretty cheap too.

The 20 is the classic talk radio mic that most of the greats used. That or a Shure SM7.

Nah, I may have my noise gate too high. I'll check it out, I may have been yelling and cutting myself off like you said.

The Sm57 and 58 are pretty much the same as the Smb7, just some extra controls on there, you don't have to spend that much.

Awesome...they get pretty high ratings for around $100.

You don't want to go that way for radio. They're great for stage but they're dynamic and you have to be facing them always centered. If you move at all you'll cut out like Daniel always does. Better to get a condenser mic of some sort.
