Glad Knapp is getting back to a paranormal topic this Sun.  I'm getting my recliner tuned up and my autumn-appropriate fuzzy slippers out for the show.
Same here.  I usually enjoy Knapp the most when he's doing the para.

I'm with you.  Friedman to me has become the cheesy lounge act of ufology.  He spends the bulk of his time reliving his past glories, such as they are, and taking shots at any and all ufologists who have had the audacity to disagree with him.  Combine Stan's shtick with Knapp's unwillingness to challenge any of his paranormal/UFOs guests, doesn't have much appeal.  Much prefer Knapp's true crime and Mafia shows, that's great radio.

I like him practically regardless of what he has on, which is remarkable.  Which is why I remarked.

However, if they'd unload the paranormal topics from Noory to him & the other emcees, it'd improve C2C.  I haven't been up late much lately, but there's much less paranormal on C2C lately, and I think Noory does better with most of the other topics.

But that happens to most of them after long enough.  Ever read John Keel's pamphlet on the UFOlogic subculture?  At least Friedman does it in a way that's more palatable than many.  Let's put it this way: If Bob Lazar & Stanton Friedman contradicted each other on some point, who would you rather believe?  Heck, if John Keel & Stanton Friedman disagreed on some fact, I'd've believed Friedman.  Friedman could be spouting total horseshit, yet he'd somehow convince me over the word of George Hansen.

Stanton Friedman and Kathleen Martin sure are appearing all over this past week promoting their new book.
They were just on a Dark Matter Network show last hour (Behind the Paranormal) and of course will be on c2c Sunday with Knapp.

Noory obviously seems more interested in politics than paranormal now, despite what he says that c2c doesn't do politics.
He has been proudly mentioning lately his plans to expand to a 5 hour show the night of the election in November.
Why not do that for a good paranormal guest once in a while too? Nah, Noory would rather sneak out early on Friday nights and switch to a replay in the last hour...

By all means, if you find Friedman palatable, listen and enjoy.  My post was not to disagree with or be critical of those who, like you, would relish hearing him interviewed again.  My comment was to second that of another poster, nothing more.

I remember when that one guy, Art, did a 5 hour show, then had to reduce it to four due to back problems, and Noory said he'd take the show back to 5 hours.  That was years ago.  Hopefully he will make good on his promise this time (for the sake of the weekend shows, not that I want to be listening to 5 hours of Noory).

But he wouldn't let Hoagie do his 5-hour Pluto Extravaganza for the New Horizons fly-by.   :(

Hi, TL. I've heard Stanton many times and I still like listening to him, especially with a great interviewer. And UFOs are cool.

I primed myself for the show by watching like four X-Files in a row during last nite's insomnia doin's.  Bring forth the mysteries, cover-ups, and tales of curious lights!

I'm all about all that stuff. Except maybe for the four X-Files in a row. But, you know, I think that'd be ok too.

Good to hear Stanton tonight.  I'm listening but staying away from the pc for the most part.

Ok thought I'd stretch my legs, and take a lunar stroll.  But if I get bored I reserve the right to jump back to an earth-lounge of my choice.

Phil Klass was a real bastard.  I remember whenever he would show up on shows that my Mom and I watched, my Mom would roll her eyes in contempt.  He's throw out these theories to explain away UFO sightings and they were usually far wackier than the alleged  sightings themselves.  My Mom was not a hateful person but she hated Phil Klass and I can't say that I felt much differently.

Phil Klass, the biggest debunker and he was a member of CSICOP

Maybe in his mind, he thought he was doing the right thing. With the Brookings report stating that basically, civilization would fall apart if the ufo phenomenon was admitted to. He may have thought it was his duty, to make sure that the public would never find out fore sure. Who knows?

I doubt he was very concerned about the fate of the human race.  The man was a revolting piece of work.  Did you ever see him on the tv shows that he was on?  Larry King, Unsolved Mysteries and some daytime shows like Oprah?  He treated anyone who disagreed with him with contempt.

Only he would know what was the motivating factor in his debunking behaviour. Why was he so fervent in his trying to destroy, anyone daring to suggest we earthlings aren't alone? Was he honest in his belief in what he was doing, or was he just a jerk?

I would go with the latter.  If you ever saw him on those shows, you'd agree.

It does amaze me how people like him; so narrow minded in their views, won't even accept tangible proof, or credible witnesses to open up their minds. This is defiantly ignorance, and borders on stupidity.

Precisely.

Kathleen's story sounds similar to experiences with the demonic.

She stops short of making the ufo/demonic connection. L A Marzulli would have something to say about this.
