UN1234 - If you are taking these topics that seriously, maybe you would find more receptive people on a religious or new age site. There are sites dedicated to the topics you mention above. If you would like to argue these points then, by all means seek out an atheist forum, many have sections specifically dedicated to this debate.

I would like to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind. Since you've mentioned reincarnation and askashic records, who is this cosmic scorekeeper? Do you also believe in karma?

You might find the movie, The Cloud Atlas, interesting. It's very long and follows the many lifetimes of the main characters. Many people found it difficult or too boring, but it had a great message.

Not really.  These are questions best answered by your own experiences.  I've been there, to that other side.  What good would it do to explain it from my point of view?  One needs to see it for oneself.

Look I made the same mistake when I first found this site. I felt like I had so much to say and so many questions to ask. This site is full of very smart individuals. Some take things to the extreme like spelling and grammar (which I careless about) others it is posting the same shit as another post (which I love to do). Others just want to hate on everything you post because they love drama (or want to see the world burn). You will find friends, allies, free thinkers, religious nutjobs, and even enemies here. Learn to use the Search option which is at the top right three over from Home. Then bring some knowledge be able to back it up and in the end people will still tell you are full of shit. So thicken your skin and let the sickness begin... Enjoy !!1

What makes you think any of us have the answers to your questions? I don't like to be confined to taking sides. I can agree or disagree with either side because I am free to do so. I respond to a well thought out position- not right or left or believer or non believer.

I'd say it takes a lifetime of experience and study from well researched sources to find even a small bit of understanding.

Coast to Coast used to be a window into new ideas. Art Bell did a great job of introducing topics and guests outside of the mainstream. There are plenty of sources to be found. Maybe focus on one and then expand from there. It takes more work than just chatting on a forum.
