that's going to happen soon.  a new version of this forum software is currently in beta, and it will automatically format the screen for mobile devices vs. desktop PCs.  it should be much more user friendly.  it will probably move out of beta in a few months.

But please please suggest, instruct, or remind the bevelopers of the Forum beta sw or/and your in-house customization team to include a link in the footer of all pages which would allow interfacing with the "Full Desktop Version" at-will regardless of device size -- in other words the ability to override the auto-detect and redirect to mobile version.

That will be available, for sure. I hate forced mobile versions of sites. They're usually hobbled and clunky. Apparently, "mobile" is synonymous with "useless".

I wasn't jumping Unscreened.  I was responding, in jest, to Yorkie.  Hence 'the empire' reference.  And maybe you missed the smiley that I typed in.  *shrug*  Everybody knows that the U.S. never was an empire.  We merely had a Manifest Destiny.

Unscreened is a teacher?  Facing a classroom of Americas Future?  Unscreened deserves a daily Scotch ration along with his/her combat pay.   As I have actually stood in the front of a classroom at the community college level, I can understand both sides of peoples ire/enthusiasm for our gallant teachers.

that I was kiddo.  And I will stand by my statement that you, as a teacher, facing Americas Future, everyday (except maybe snow days, holidays, or just in a daze) deserve a daily Scotch ration (not to exclude snow days, holidays, or just in a daze.)
