See... Art was alerted to SiriusXM's low down, double-handed business practices and dealings before all others. He tried to warn his listeners that SiriusXM is in it for the money, and only for the money, and to hell with the listeners and the problems they were having picking-up the shows that are critical and crucial to the novelty that our/Art's forum provides.


So it would seem that time does a little more than healing all wounds. It has exposed the low down double-handed dealings that SiriusXM is really all about.

Yeah it's some bad stuff alright. I guess Art wasn't as savvy to big business and cut throat radio practices as he believed himself to be.

SiriusXM won't be around in five years. Their stock price is in the shitter and their profits are dwindling. They'll collapse soon enough. Maybe they'll somehow take George to George with them

The heads of corporations like Sirius XM typically make last ditch efforts to amp up their screwing of customers just before pulling the plug. They want to squeeze every last dime out of their remaining subscribers before they close up shop and issue a sorry statement along the lines of not being able "to keep up with the rapidly changing landscape of Internet radio."  The greedbags are probably still pocketing bonuses while the company circles the drain, ultimately leaving their customers with worthless proprietary radios, and their third world employees without a job.

I hope this judgement will act as a deterrent to other companies who use these horrible practices  of defrauding their customers.   hahaha, yeah right!
Hidden fees, hardware leasing agreements, long term contracts with $ penalties and the complexity of the contract terms in fine print. You need a degree in business/law to understand it all, which, isn't an accident BTW, it's designed that way.
It's greed, plain and simple. These companies will do whatever they can to suck a few extra dollars out of the customer. I'm glad someone is holding them accountable. Will this stop, probably not. They will find other creative methods to get around those pesky laws that protect the consumer.

It's not just SXM either. Cable/Sat TV providers, cellphone companies, ISP's, Credit Card/Banks. They all have some variation of these practices that end up separating the customer from their money.
