Alright, this is getting silly again.  For awhile we had a good bit of fun posting things which sounded like "hijack."  I even posted one myself.  But then Robert Ghostwolf's Ghost said "Hi, Bob" and everything went to bollocks.  Much like the General's quarters after a good heated rugby match between Liverpool and, well, anywhere else really.  And not that rubbish you Americans call football but good, proper English rugby. 

So off you go, have yourself a buttered scone with marmalade, a nice Earl Grey Tea, and a good constitutional.  And stop being so silly!

I never understood the name St. John.  It's confusing.  It sounds like they've been canonized.  And why do they pronounce it Sinjin?  Or, according to howtopronunce.com, Jill Street John, which has an entirely different connotation.

I recently watched The Young in Heart (1938).

The reason for viewing the film was because my favorite automobile of all time makes an appearance therein.

The Phantom Corsair.

Given the plastic and fiberglass craptastic boxes most of us drive today, we have clearly, "forgotten the face of our father."

That is magnificent, Cam!  I wouldn't mind having one of those, along with a pair of snazzy shoes that match the wheels (I'd have to extend the garage a few feet, though).  It reminds me of something the brilliant Bruce McCall might have envisioned, and as it turns out he's a big fan.
