Brown is so far in front that he's barely running a campaign.  No 30 second ad is going to change that, unless it's a cell phone video of Jerry fucking a goat.

I think this guy is auditioning for another state office at a later time, or perhaps 2018 when Brown terms out.

This is probably the case.  Unless Jerry is fucking goats and not Digital Pigs.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Describe your thoughts on this political ad...

My thoughts are it's time we took our schools back from the various state educrats and the Federal Department of Education educrats, and gave the power back to the parents and teachers.

Here in Calif they tell us they spend around $10,000 per child per year on K-12 education.  If a classroom has 25-30 kids, that's $250-300k per year.  That's not including what is spent at the Federal level

Going into my kids schools, I sure didn't see $250k spent in each class.  Not even close.  Even allocating some for computer lab/library, the grounds, janitor, the nurse, the principles office, the cafeteria, there was still an enormous amount missing.  The books and furniture are old, the place is run down, the teachers are spending their own money for supplies.  Music and drivers ed are gone, as are a lot of the other non-essentials at school we had when we were kids

The money is being spent in Sacramento (the capitol) on a bunch of bureaucrats who not only aren't teaching anyone, they are mostly working against the interests of the schools and kids, and on behalf of the Left-wing teachers union bosses and in formulating 'Progressive' policy and curriculum.  The same policy and curriculum that over the past 40-some years has mis-educated our kids, and that has turned our once world class schools into near failures.

Jerry Brown and all the Democrats cater to the Teachers Unions - for money, campaign contributions - and have created the failed school problem.

Let's be clear - the Unions are distinct from the teachers.  No one is dumping on the teachers.  Perhaps the first reform is to ban the educrats from being in the teachers unions and outvoting actual teachers on leadership.  The second reform would be to allow the unions to do the collective bargaining, period, and to be banned from influence over policy making

I seldom agree with arguments favoring privatization, but the condition of California schools is such a fuckin disgrace that I would consider ANY alternative, and consider the current system the least desirable option.

I'm with the talking pig.  Give me the authority and I'll have those schools turned around.  Non performers get put up against the wall.  Eat at the public trough?  You WILL provide results. (I'm talking teachers and the friggin self righteous admin, not our little ppl.)

Kids just don't 'Get It.'  We, as the accountable authority find an alternative way to teach.  Still can't get it?  No worries son, you WILL have a job when you come to maturity.  We will see to it.  A bit of each to his own abilities.  We find a vocation for the poor bastard.  Something he will excell at.  Gov't service used to be a joke, now it's a gravy train.  Let's take the jokes out and de-fat the gravy.  Our less bright need jobs at the DMV, SS, etc.  Not morons of course, they'll be the groundskeepers at Fed, State and other Municipal installations.  (See, even I could get a job if I weren't already employed as The Accountable One.)

He's too sexy for that commercial. Too sexy for...

All the problems with our public schools would disappear overnight if we apologize to God an beg His forgiveness for kicking Him out of the classroom in the sixties.  Until then, everything had been fine and dandy, and trouble had never clouded our sky.  So, we need to ask Him very nicely, beseeching on bended knee if that's what it takes, to return and set things right.  And if a few people wind up getting smote in the process, that's the way His mind works and it's best not to ask questions

What we could do, rather than blaming.. jesus fucking christ... the 'Libtards', the 'Demoncraps', or the 'Repugnacons', is finding out what makes the top ten performing education systems in the world the top ten performing education systems in the world.

...and then, you know, do that.
