The Witches of C2C

I'm curious about some of the witches who were frequent guests on C2C. George had mentioned Evelyn Paglini -oops- Dr. Evelyn Paglini and she was not a favorite of mine. I'm not an expert on the subject, I'm just interested in the history and cultural aspects. There was something"off" about her as far as I was concerned. I found an interesting blog that talks about her before her fame.

I like Judika Illes. She doesn't come off as a hack trying to push a product. She has a genuine passion for the subject and only presented positive, healthy aspects, which I suspect is why her interview with George was strained.

Are there any other witches who were guests on Coast that you remember?

I suspect that the reason for the bevy of witches lately is that Noory is auditioning for a C2C "house witch" since Paglini passed away.  Who was the guest witch whom Noory banned for a rather cruel prediction?  Was that Paglini?

I remember that show! I caught it on a Somewhere in Time program. She was a nasty bit of business! I think Art did a great job interviewing her.

I didn't consider Evelyn a "white witch". I never warmed up to her- didn't think much of her kind of magic. If I'm not mistaken, I think she would talk about retaliating against people. I could be thinking of someone else, but I think she did run negative at times. I think that appeals to George. He was asking Judika about curses and she wasn't saying what he wanted to hear. Again, I could be misreading the exchange, but that's how it appeared to me. He even mentioned "haters". Wonder who he's talking about.

I read that she ran a satanic "church" in Chicago in the '70s when that stuff was hip.  I don't recall that it was ever mentioned on C2C.

I doubt they ever mentioned it either. Was she the one who co-authored the book? Just never cared for her as a guest and I didn't know anything about her past.
