I was trying to figure out where to put this.  In some ways, it should probably be under podcasts / radio broadcasts.  I also figure there is a pretty good chance it will end up in Left VS Right politics, name calling and personal attacks and should probably be under politics.  For now, I will see how it works here...

This American Life (I know- how left can I get listening to THAT?) just aired a program on the tapes that a bank examiner,  Carmen Segarra made while at Goldman working for the Fed.  I think most of us already know that the regulator is in bed with the regulated (in almost all industries.)  This was interesting to see just how comfortable each is with the relationship.

This should be a major wake-up call for people.  Instead, I have heard almost no reporting on it and the population will most likely return to slumber until the next financial crisis.  At that point we will again ask how it was missed and why the little guy suffers for the profits of a big bank.

Oh well... I post it here for your consideration.  I figure that if she could defy some of the most powerful people in finance and destroy her career I can spend a couple of minutes considering what she says...
