Little by little, The Constitution is winning...
It's good that rights are being protected.  I wish all rights would be protected with as much ferocity and dedication.  4th Amendment issues should be coming through the courts soon.

Actually, it's nearly dead.  The courts and the politicians mostly go through the motions.  It is not possible to see what the Federal government has become and square that with the Constitution.

It's been dying since the last time people calling themselves 'Progressives' were in office - 100 years ago.

In 1913 alone the Federal Reserve Bank was created, the 16th Amendment officially giving us the income tax was approved, and the 17th Amendment passed - which stripped the States from having representation in DC, thus creating a situation where the Federal government would usurp the authority of the various States whenever it wanted.

Under FDR the Constitution lost more ground, and still more was lost under LBJ.  Those were the two most damaging Presidents since the Wilson regime, but it's lost a little bit under every President during the past century.

We are living in a post-Constitutional era now.  I doubt the Constitution will recover from this final 8 year assault under Obama, not to mention the 8 years of Bush II before that.

How do you explain the numerous pro-second amendment rulings of late contrasted against your dire observations? To me it seems, at least partially, to be putting power back into the hands of The People, where it rightfully belongs.

No doubt you're organising the American Spring march to that end?

Naaa, maybe not; you sit there posting stuff instead of doing anything.
