Sirius XM Post Art Bell

Do any of you still have your Sirius XM subscription? I talking about the subscribers who only subscribed when Art announced that he would be broadcasting on Sirius and not those who already had a subscription for one reason or another.

If you subscribed because of Art and did not cancel 6 weeks later when Art bailed, why are you still a subscriber? What do you listen to on Sirius?

I am coming up on the end of my subscription. I pre-paid a year in advance due to my unique geographical situation and I am now coming to the end of my relationship with subscription radio. I am trying to decide whether I keep it or just ditch it. I enjoy occasionally listening to Stern and I also enjoy listening to Pearl Jam radio and Lithium. I'm not sure whether these are good reason to continue to pay though.

MV/Liberace!

Agreed a lot of Sirius host bitch about same things art did. They don't listen to listners nor talent.

The Anthony firing is absurd. His job is to encore controversy.

Got rid of Sirius many moons ago.. paying for radio seems weird to me.

Never listened to Howard Stern, but I did see his TV show a few times and I have to say he's one tedious and repetitive cunt of a man. He'd be more a reason for cancelling a subscription than going and getting one.

I hadn't even realised Art was on Sirius... and why do they pronounce it 'Serious'... but I'd probably have subbed for him alone.

Still, we always have George.

We'll always have George.

I'd pay a subscription to keep George away from terrestrial radio.

I've had it in the home since 06. I loathed it then and I still do. Recently when we bought our new trucks Sirius was of course included for the first six months, those are now at a discount because of the home account.

If that's not bad enough my wife has all her family 2500 miles away under our account, so everybody has the discount because of us. I feel like a Sirius radio slumlord.  I bet we're about $90. a month after it all.

The shame.

My parents still have it, for some reason. Every time we go to a family event in their car, I'm always asking "why does this music sound like shit?"

My friend swears by it because he listens to Raw Dog (?) for the raunchy comedy. I can't see spending that money for one channel.

SiriusXM, aside from stopping their prickdom, should also offer a one-channel deal for all the folks who tune in simply to hear ONE show. There's gotta be a way to make that work. Then again, they are a media company, so they're probably clueless.

I'd pay a subscription to keep George away from terrestrial radio any public forum at all including broadcasting on any medium.
