Just curious.  Tonight I'm listening to 9/14/95, Art Bell on Flying Saucer Technology.  I think Stan Deyo is going to be the guest.

jazmunda

My random playlist is playing a show from 1997-04-25 labelled Sacred Amulets.

Good thread 51. Although it makes us seem like a bunch O nerds... LOL.

After surfing the mp3 dial I've landed on (The Shroud of Turin from 04 03 2001)

area51drone

LOL, any excuse to create a new thread.  Gotta pad my stats.

I don't no what you're doing but your boobs have been looking fantastic as of late :)

I've revisited this episode on several occasions, including tonight. I find it absolutely fascinating since I had never heard of forensic psychiatry.

Art Bell: Somewhere in Time returned to July 21, 1999, when Dr. Drew Ross discussed serial killers. UFO lobbyist Stephen Bassett appeared in the first hour.

I bought Dr. Ross's book after hearing this interview. Highly recommend both.

area51drone

Cool, I'll check it out.  Thanks for the recommendation.

Yeah, that Dr. Ross was a good one.  If you're into that kind of shit... there's one Art did with like a CSI- style guy who was an expert in ballistics style work. 2/3/97 Alexander Jason.

1/16/05 is good.  Howard Hughes...

George Drooly

I listen to his 9/11 broadcast at least once a day, and his three retirement shows at least once each a week.

Listening to the Alexander Jason one right now, thank you.

Will check out the Howard Hughes one as well.

If you have the new torrent, look for the show where art interviews the dude who wrote the turner diaries. it's a great interview

That was a good show. Didn't it sound like the taper kept fast forwarding through parts of the interview though? I've noticed that on a couple other shows that are new to the "final torrent".

yeah I noticed too, I'm guessing it's encoding errors, or the cassette tapes were fucked up or something

For the next few nights I'm listening to Art's interviews with the late Fr. Malachi Martin. There's about 15 hours of shows just with Fr. Martin talking about exorcisms that he's performed. The url is:  https://archive.org/details/ArtBellAndMalachiMartin

The numbers lady....

Just kidding. I am listening to John Shepard from 2/26/97. A caller just said Aliens evolved from dinosaurs and he started drawing correlations between them.

Up late getting some work done and listening to Art's show on 95-12-20 with Emanuel McLittle, editor of Destiny magazine. Never heard this before.... intense

dan7800

Is that in the torrent? (I am too lazy to look)

I've been listening to the U7 feed lately since it is the only stream I am aware of.

Yeah, it is. That torrent is gold.

I googled John Shepard after reading your post Dan and he has the worst website. Check out those videos.. I clicked the "contact us" button and got a (Fatal Error) on a blank page.

It's good for a giggle.

I listen to a lot of shows at work, I too am methodically going through the playlist of the definitive collection. I'm almost done with 95. The most recent highlights were the alien autopsy and the Bigfoot show, which was only bigfoot for the first hour.

edit: also listened to two of the 9/11 shows last Tuesday on the anniversary.

Mastodonkey

Currently listening to 4-4-2000 episode with Brad Steiger - Ghosts and Spirits. All the episodes with Brad are pretty good. Even some of the ones with Jorch.

phrodo

Listening to the Fire in the Sky show with Travis Walton and Mike Rogers. Very intriguing show. Think it's about the third or fourth time around for this particular show.

dan7800

What would be more interesting... George Noory interviewing the ghost of Abe Lincoln or a SIT show where Art interviews a rock...

Discuss......

Ehh I am listening to a starfire Tor 2009 11-20

Honestly she is a bad guest, and its a Manilla show. Still it is vastly better than Noory.

We should pick a show and all listen to it and then discuss it, that would be cool and help fill in the time until July2015.

scottydawg

The show from Sept. 28, 2003 about Nanotechnology. First hour Art was talking about the drought in Australia and the Earthquake in Italy that left 58 million people without power. Great show ;D. Listened to the first 3 hours before had to go to bed.
Thanks to all the people who posted the archives. Saved them all and enjoy them every week. Even more and more now that the bare bone wreck of C2C keeps having the same worn out crap on. 32 mins an hour of show, 28 minutes of inane commercials! >:(
