ATTN: C2C STAFF AND HOSTS

Let me stress one point to open. I've been a loyal Coast to Coast listener for well over half my life (13 to 30 years of age) and I've had streamlink services off and on for over 10 years. My Christmases, and New Years, and Halloweens, have been spent with Coast for over 16 years now.

You lost John Wells, meaning (to me) that's the straw that broke this camel's back. I'm writing off Coast. With Mr. Wells gone, you have lost your last GREAT interviewer.

Premier Radio, you've lost a very loyal fan. Here's why:

Noory, you are not the masterful interviewer that you should be to steer the ship. That pains me to say, that's like telling your mom that her cooking sucks!  So many times you ask a guest a question that they've already spent over 5 minutes explaining to the audience.

I have nothing against Mr. Knapp. But his voice doesn't keep me up.  Too bad. I like your content, and you are by far and large a better interviewer, but it seems like radio isn't your best means of conveyance.

Your screener TOMMY is rude and arrogant. I called in once staring at a UFO in the night sky moving West towards Denver and Tommy told me that unless they came down or I physically see a creature, that I was pretty much wasting his time. In another instant, the night of the Boston Bombing, I called in to get hung up on by Tommy 3 times within 30 minutes (the odds of getting through 3 times in 30 minutes are what, 800:1 or so?)  I even made it a point to politely ask him not to hang up on me this time, let me have 1 minute of his time, and he could decide as to whether or not my call was important enough to.  The message I had to share that night was a message from the Indigo Children and Starseeds; a message revealed to me on 11.11.11 while sitting in Sedona soul searching: a message of hope, and a clear choice between good and evil; fear and love.  Just the kind of message that needed to be heard to a nation in fearful mourning.  I've not tried to call in since.

To Premiere Radio: What you did to Art by screwing him with a huge NDA was utterly nonsensical, outrageous, and foolish.  When he did abide by the terms of his NDA and made his return, you threatened XM until you bent them to your will. I'm pretty sure your executives would bust Atlas in the kneecap (and let the whole world fall) if you thought you could profit from it.

I am indeed outraged.  This "East of the Rockies" listener, and long-time fan, has said no more.

Instead of investing anymore time with Coast, I have instead decided to leave and give my streaming money to Caravan to Midnight, and shift my listening over to Dark Matter Radio Network. I sincerely hope your affiliates follow suit and come to the realization that the show just isn't what it used to be!

Late Night AM Talk Radio isn't dead yet, but you are killing it slowly.  You have been warned.

Sincerely,
James from Northwest Kansas

Maybe he gets enough people calling who are having a trip, and one more is just boring. A word to the wise: There is no such thing as Indigo children or Starseeds. The message you heard was simply your fertile imagination. Honestly.

If, at the least, there is something in the mass-consciousnesses of humanity that streams this data. You need not believe that something started to occur in the 60's-70s's, began to take form by the mid 80's, and became fully upon us in 2012.  I'm not asking you to believe that a group of souls reincarnated for this very interesting age of Man.  You are entitled to your beliefs.  I herald from many different beliefs, and have studied everything from Coptic to Weslyan, Wiccan to Buddhism, Judaism to Catholicism, and almost everything in between. I see the common threads running through them, and integrate them into my spiritual walk.  You can call it hogwash all you want. It won't change my core beliefs, or the things I know to be true, one iota. I don't seek to change anyone's beliefs, but perhaps broaden them some...

To me, it all boils back down to the whole God-part of the brain.  We are all connected, We are all receiving data from the Akasha, but how we interpret it is up to the individual.  I don't buy into everything i hear, but life is full of too many little synchronicities for it all to be coincidental.
It's not new-age thinking, it's actually old-earth, and old ways.

Then you'll know that Buddism isn't a religion, it's a philosophy. The rest of the modern religions (Other than Paganism) are the organised subjugation of the masses.

The idea is based on concepts developed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe[5] and further developed by Jan Tober and Lee Carroll.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigo_children

In short someone on a bad trip decided that kids with possible and undiagnosed mental illnesses were somehow blessed with superpowers. It has a twofold detrimental effect: One, the parents of the children who believe this crap are not having their children assessed for other more likely diagnosis. and because of that reason, their non diagnosis and treatment will get worse not better, and possibly lead to a very unhappy adulthood.. Presumably Ms Tappe had an answer for 'indigo adults, who weren't really, but autistic;? Pseudo scientists, should be made to stand by their bollox, and prosecuted when they can't deliver.

Not that I have any strong feelings on the matter.

I've taught over 300 children and my school enrolls around 400 children currently, none of whom is an Indigo child. In fact, it's not mentioned in any of the pedagogical or child psychology textbooks assigned for my degree. What troubles me about this, is that the label 'Indigo child' is being used to circumvent proper evaluations of children with learning disabilities, developmental delays or ADD/ADHD and that is a horrible disservice to children who are prevented from receiving proper resources that would impact their futures. It's a handy tool for parents in denial, and I've dealt with too many of those over the years.

Maybe not but I am not yet ready to just dismiss this fella as being Professor KooKoo Pants. I never had a message from or about Indigo Children but I did get a message from Dayglo Abortions. The message was, "Argh Fuck Kill"

While I have yet to fully embrace their message by killing, I have done the first two. Lawd knows I have done my share of Arghing.

The rest of the original post left me glassy eyed. Add a few links and pictures and I would be having flashbacks. Someone actually gave money to Noory and now wants to announce he is giving it to Wells? You would probably be better served by cutting out the Presidents and having a puppet show with your defaced currency Presidential puppets. You could also send your money to Peter Popoff. Not into religion? Just replace Jesus with Alien in his sermons and have a party. A Peter Popoff party.

I for one would really like to hear this message. Sorry that Tommy was being a little bitch about it.

MOST children have imaginary friends and see all sorts of stuff early on, and then over time they are told, "Its just your imagination."  So they tune it all out. Auras, ghosts, premonitions, ect. They are taught to ignore this whole other world, because science can't quantify it therefore it doesn't exist.

Many many of us are born with ingrained gifts.  I was fortunate that my mother didn't do any drugs when she was preggers with me, and she nurtured me in an open-minded environment.  But when you know some important things before they happen, and that information saves your life, you don't question the miracle of it. You thank your God for the wisdom.  At least I do.

Too many kids are MIS-DIAGNOSED ADD/ADHD, put on dextroamphetamine pills that are essentially speed and meth, and go through puberty not even realizing that they have been forced into a serious and dangerous chemical addiction by their parents.  I would go out on a limb, and say that even if 1:20 children are misdiagnosed, those drugs are warping their minds.  Then these "ADD" kids grow up, don't cope with reality, grab a gun, and do something wholly stupid and regrettable.

Unscreened Caller: You say that the Indigo/Crystal Children phenomena is a "handy tool for parents in denial," so where do you ADHD/ADD kids hopped up on Adderall? Is that not also a "handy tool" for parents too busy or self absorbed to teach their children discipline and focus? I think it's a horrible disservice if even 1:20 of those kids ends up an abuser, and I have ZERO doubt that the statistics are much higher than that.

Immaturity Misdiagnosed as ADHD?

Nearly one million children in U.S. potentially misdiagnosed with ADHD

Noory, you are not the masterful interviewer that you should be to steer the ship. That pains me to say, that's like telling your mom that her cooking sucks!  So many times you ask a guest a question that they've already spent over 5 minutes explaining to the audience.

This is what's driven me away from C2C...  I just can't stand listening to George Noory's terrible interviews anymore.  It seems very clear that he works almost entirely from a script.  The questions are prepared and pre-screened with the guest.  George just scrolls down the list.  No matter what the last answer was, he's gonna ask the next question.  Sense, logic and on-point discussion be damned.  The guests are obviously aware of this, because they just roll with it... they bounce straight on to the next Q&A without much of a bump, because they knew the question was coming.  They often don't make any effort to finish the last point they were trying to make.  They just push on, because that's the C2C drill.  George manages to skip around on the question list a bit, as much as his imagination permits… but it's pretty limited.  His more adept guests manage to salvage the situation, but many can't/don't.

And all this is really just borne of laziness and convenience on Noory's part.  He's no doubt got a staffer doing the background work and prepping questions.  George probably tweaks the Q&A script a bit, the guest gets his copy, and off they go.  George can't be bothered to do the hard work required to actually get well prepared for a fully spontaneous interview, with a few notes in hand.  That requires having a decent command of the material, a quick mind and sharp wit.  I think it requires more time, energy and talent on Noory's part than he can muster.  He's too busy jetting around, schmoozing at conferences and writing cookbooks.  And his interviews suffer as a result.

Those who are writers usually have a pretty good ear for when someone's reading from a script.  There's a certain cadence about it... it may sound a bit spontaneous, but you can always tell by the timing of phrases, stops and segues when something is streaming from paper rather than mind.  And a lot of the time, Noory is just reading -- thus the often mindless moments in his interviews.  When something occasionally sparks his memory, he fills in with a little adhoc dialogue. Then it's right back to the script.

I can't stand it anymore... can't listen to another bad Noory interview.  I now join the ranks of C2C refugees here at BellGab, hoping you'll be kind and take me in.  Otherwise, who will understand how frustrated I am, night after night, having no quality content to listen to as I work?

That brief spell Art did on SiriusXM was great, but it also made the situation worse, providing a fresh point of comparison.  I don't mind so much that my new, pricy SiriusXM gear is now gathering dust.  Worst of it is, after that brief return to great radio, it became just impossible to back to C2C.  Unless it is/was Knapp or John B., tuning back into the Noory sound vibration is far too frustrating.

End of new member introductory rant.
