Big Chicken is still a new comer to the Falkieverse as it were.

If I am reading The Master's statement from the 10th correctly, he's been paying $28/month in interest on a hocked camera since last year.

Truly that can't be accurate, can it?

The numbers come out just fine for someone whose time horizon does not exceed 30 days.

When you think strictly in terms of paying $28.00 per month, full stop, keeping up the payments on a $400 GoPro camera* month after month for more than a year makes sense.

When you view it as paying $336 in interest per year on a $400 camera that started depreciating the second it came out of the box, however, suddenly it starts looking like a crap idea.

You sound exactly like the sort of person who would snobbishly insist that Catman's paying a $95 "activation fee" for a credit card with a $400 limit is a crap idea, too**.  Get with the payday loan programme, son!

*Catman has admitted that the camera in question is "a $400 camera" in the "Gimme $150 or else!" video.

**Probably because it is a crap idea, seeing as how the cardholder is $95 in the hole before he has spent a single penny and the cost of interest and additional fees has not been factored in at all.

(Apologies for the double post; the rough draft of the above posted earlier by mistake. :( )

The Master should have got out the old paper and pencil

Things are moving quickly at this point...more to come

Only stupid cats will starve, smart ones will hunt and find mice and critters to eat. I used to have outside cats and i never fed them anything they ate mice and birds and were always healthy until they got feline leukemia and died which happened often. Falkie will probably end up exposing his own cats to feline leukemia from feeding strays and rack up vet bills he cant afford.

Since he lives in an apartment his only option is probably to live trap them then drown them in a river or pond.

I have funds for the kitties... waiting for wiring instructions

Also working on a fundraiser for homeless families.... every dollar George agrees to will be matched for a donation to homeless children.

Someone using paper and pencil to crunch the numbers so they don't end up in the hole means they are both taking responsibility for their future and exhibiting foresight.

(In this thread, that's considered crazy talk.)

Chefist! save this for the Falkiethon.  I'd be glad to have you be a sponsoring host, you can even keep the demand for Mr. Senda to appear during it.  I am working behind the scenes to get an Amazon wishlist of all the types and quantities of cat food that Mr. Senda's horde needs to be well fed throughout this time of trouble.  As soon as I get the list and a breakdown of how many are needed for each meal we will be able to discuss in detail what each donation has funded.

The funds generated for the Amazon wishlist will go directly to the product and will be drop shipped to Mr. Senda to resolve any issues of the money being mis-used, not that I am saying it will happen but I have had multiple people inform me that it is a concern.

Its looking very likely that the Falkiethon may happen this Friday night and will go for 4 hours.  We are looking for several sponsoring hosts and Chefist you would be a great anchor for this.  As a sponsoring host you would get to sit in with jazmunda and myself.

If you would like to sponsor an hour at a lower price ($20) you can be a host for your sponsoring segment.  If Mr. Senda is willing to host during at least 1 segment the price for sponsoring that hour goes up to $50 and you get to ask Mr. Senda questions. This would require Mr. Senda to agree to appear of course and I can make no promises he will do so.

It will be free to call in and share your random question or topic during the Falkiethon, but to ask a falkie specific question will cost a $2 donation, and during any Mr. Senda hosted segments that price goes up to $5 to ask him questions on anything related to topics brought up in the Musings thread. Questions and comments in FRIENDSHIP will be free.

Asking someone questions is one thing; at $5 per question, I take it that Catman is obligated to answer every question, is that correct?

That would be the terms, yes.  I don't see a downside for Mr. Senda as the intention is to feed those kitties!

Who would dare consider his motives anything other than unimpeachable?

For those kind of wages, Senda could at least do a nightly one hour GabCast I would think, at least 5 nights a week.

To go to the Amazon wish list of Cat food and cat supplies. Baby cat and Orangey will not go hungry. Christmas  can be saved. It might be a Bellgab Miracle!!!

Any word on the development of a Falkie Christmas CD? I mean he had sung before and has given stirring renditions of popular songs:
