There was a post that said they hoped George would catch cancer from Kathy and die.  It has since disappeared which is a good thing. 

I don't feel superior, I called myself a piece of Senda for participating in this thread too.  I guess reading comprehension isn't your strength. I tried to use as few words over two syllables as possible.  All I was getting at is that I won't bash George with that info.  Nor would most here, you included.  I take plenty of swipes at George and will continue to do so.  Don't get so defensive.

I get the skepticism but some of you seem downright gleeful about the possibility of Kathy having cancer.  I guess I'm not as big of a piece of Senda as some of you.

Unless Senda asks for money then you know it's a scam otherwise this may be legit. It also explains why Kathy came back to George, she realized that except for Ratty Patty the only person in her life who half gives a shit about her is Senda.

I myself had a serious cancer scare 2 years ago (biopsy benign thank God) but I do know that it will change your outlook on life as to who and what is important and facing the BIG C is scary as hell.

Hopefully Kathy will be all right and it's something else and not cancer.

Did we ever find out if Kathy started returning the Fat One's calls? Senda sounded quite shaken up by it, although not too shaken up to have virtually forgotten about it the next moment, or bother to go round there himself to check if the old girl was still breathing. No doubt there is usually a bad smell coming from her apartment anyway, so it would be hard to tell if it contained a rotting corpse. Also, I remember a while back that she was supposed to be in hospital bleeding from an undisclosed orifice, but that one got quietly dropped. I am starting to think that he makes stuff up as he goes along.

The reason why saffron is so expensive is how it is harvested.  All of this stuff you are reading about how to grow it is disinformation to throw you off track.  This is to protect the livelihood of the saffron harvesters.

The way it is produced is a marsupial eats the saffron beans and then goes off and poops somewhere.  The saffron harvester must then collect the poops and pick out the beans.  The natural acidity of the bean filaments is buffered by the trip through the marsupial's digestive system, giving the filaments their distinctive color and aroma.  The filaments are then teased out of the beans and collected in spice bottles for shipping to the USA and other parts of the world that don't count.

I don't think Senda has the patience for any part of this process because it is work.  Maybe the eating and pooping part.
