He does not think of them a friends. They are members and agents of his secret organization. It has double agents and sabatures as well as loyal followers. Secret projects, secret plans, secret leaks that are all just things that are helping to realize his dream of being in a underground spy ring.

Why do you think he is willing to accept tiny cameras in his cables? It is because his life sucks but secret cameras make it more of a James Bond world.

I really think that if Falkie found out that his circle gems were his biggest trolls,  he'd be so upset to the point of never being the same person he is today. (and not in any type of positive way).

He's been losing his ability to remember things as of late. That has become very apparent.
No Kathy after many years.....  and figuring out he's been trolled in the biggest way by what he thought were true friends..
on a personal level, it would be hard for nearly anyone to get passed.
I totally dread the day he figures it out.
